For a pro, hard core pro, training nwvwe deserts them. Many of them stop thinking and just start executing all they have learned in training

You don't evacuate a chopper until it's submerged in water.

Count a few seconds then you may egress the window.

This doesn't guarantee anything as hypothermia, injury, sharks and drowning may still render your survival unlikely.

Most modern choppers have at least two gas turbine engines, not just one. It's just the main and tail rotor assemblies that have critical single points of failure.

Aeroplane is far better and safer because helicopter uses single engine. I am a trained engineer, the principle upon which helicopter operates makes it unsafe compared to aeroplane

What are you rambling on about? Tragedy doesn't have to make sense, because it makes no sense doesn't mean there is a conspiracy. Accident can happen even with the best safety measures in place that's just how life works. May the family have the strength to bear this tragedy that has befallen them.

Under water evacuation and egress will not work when the helicopter strikes the ocean surface with such force that it renders the occupants of the craft immobilized and disoriented. Of course you damn well know that in maritime and aviation training, it is emphasised that under water evacuation and egress from a crashed helicopter has a very minute probability of success. So what rubbish are you saying?

how many times have you been in a helicopter crash or naval incident, what ever the fuselage all hardware and aircrafts have the naval and maritime versions, using a helicopter thats safer and more modified for naval operations 8s very important, you cannot slide the doors open under water so the marine versions of such choppers or Hvac needs to be on point as every second counts or the fuselage would pull the survivors to the dept , egrees should be swift and automatic, so Mr expert what variant and training did such a company use where not 1 out of 5 survived , think again
