You need to let go of your unfounded bias.

Most of those who campaigned vigorously against Jonathan in 2004 and saw a messiah in Buhari are still stuck in the past. While some may agree that Buhari destroyed Nigeria beyond expectation, they are never ready to take responsibility for their roles in this monumental error. Instead of admitting the error of their judgement that brought Buhari to power, they would rather blame Jonathan for not being a tyrant enough to cling to power even when majority of Nigeria active voters were deludedly in favoour of Saint Buhari at the time.

But it's the fault of the skewed and lopsided political structure of Nigeria that made a man like Buhari become president of Nigeria.

In every presidential election, it's either a northerner must win or a southerner chosen by the north. So expect the likes of Buhari and Tinubu to emerge winners of Nigeria's presidential election.
Due to northern military dictators' proliferation of 20 new federal units (20 states) in one northern region but only 17 federal units (17 states) in the old two southern regions, the northern region largely decides who must win Nigeria's presidential election.

You forget so easily right? That this man's coffin was paraded as a President then and called so many unprintable names.
Another civil war could have resulted. Buhari once threatened that even monkeys would be soaked in blood and all that if... before becoming the about useless Preseident that he became.

Many Nigerians wanted another person, needed to test the waters. Jonathan wasn't the best of Presidents but I think he is many miles ahead of this Grand Commander Balablu.
The problem wasn't Jonathan, he has earned a name for himself. The problem is Nigerians who are so divided and don't really know what they want.
