This allowed Israel to get the coordinates of the air defence systems.

That’s not how air defense works, the only coordinate you can get like that would be that of the launchers not the radar or control systems.

Israel knew before hand where the radar are location and targeted just that. And Iran managed to intercept most of the projectiles.

Now can Israel do more damage to Iran? Yes they have that capability.

Can Iran retaliate in like kind, yes they also have that capability.

Bottom line is that both countries are not ready to confront each other in an all-out way, hence the reason they are both causing minimal damage to each other.

The US is also not interested in an all out war right now, nor does Israel and Iran want one.

Okay when I mean projectile, it doesn’t mean guided or unguided.
A projectile is just a word used synonymously for rockets and ballistic missiles with a path.

That being said, Yes Israel or any other Air Force can plan in Iraq air space anyhow because it’s not a guarded air space. Nothing special about that sir.

However, what is special is the use of air launched ballistic missiles… which not all countries have, Israel could have gotten that from the US or use the one they’ve been developing.
