Whatever you left behind, your handpicked successor squandered it.

I had to say it before ipob terrorists and the headless mob put it on Buhari and Tinubu
you are right. But let's compare what PDP met and what APC met. PDP met a debt of $36billion and External Reserve of $3.6billion. But APC met $28billion, with their very best candidates, what have they achieved. I have said it before, the worst of PDP is far better than all the best APC has put forward join together.

You people are the most tribalisitic in Nigeria. Can you imagine leaving out GEJ that squander the money and jump to Buhari and Tinubu.
looking at what PDP met and what APC met, we can say that the worst of PDP is far better than the best of APC. Argue with you keyboard. The same APC took Jonathan to court and over the ECA.

Obaasanjo try sha, I wonder if his third term bid would have been such a bad thing after all.

But his choice of successor was abysmal to say the least. Yar'a Dua practically reversed many of the things Obj ha set in motion. He reversed the sale of the refinery to Dangotte and then set the power sector backwards forever.

To be popular he reversed the increment in petrol, of course short sighted people still hail him for that till today but in hindsight, it was a wrong move.

Then I do not even want to mention Jonathan, that one squandered the resources of the country.
I agree with you. the third time agenda would have solidly the progress made under OBJ. But those shouting up and down like a bereaved against third time, not they have the opportunity to proof that third time was not necessary, but they destroyed everything that man built in 8yrs.

Objs 8 years was of no significant value. No single meaningful infrastructure apart from the white elephant national stadium that was built at a ridiculously inflated cost. No roads and schs built. No hospitals built.
Pls read what you just wrote and ask yourself if that makes sense to you. How old were you when OBJ was in government. A government that met a near comatose economy and was able to turn things around in a short time. Pls ask your party what they have achieved in 10yrs in government. You guys have no shame.

You guys have refused to unlearn rumours and bad history. ECA was not part of foreign reserves and not inherited. Naija govs got 55% of that money when it wss shared. ECA was declared illegal by supreme court
What did FG use their share do? Crude oil was sold as high as 100dollar per barrel and GEJ still borrowed.

I can see the level of your stupidly . You don't even know the difference between ECA and ER. you don’t worth my time.

PDP made more money in 5 years of Jonathan, than 8 years of Buhari.

What comatose economy are you talking about. Were you living in the moon then? How much the dollar to naira exchange when he came in and how much did he leave it? Let's start from there. This was something abacha pegged at 80 naira for the 5 years he was in power despite the western sanctions.

I can see the level of your foolishness. Like I asked, how old were you in 1999? I started dealing with foreign exchanges in 1997 and I can lecture you. Yes Abacha pegged it at N80/$ for the official rates. But how many people can access it? Black market was N170 to a dollar. Thank God for the creative minds OBJ assembled, I was able to use my naira card to pay for my hosting and other services at the official rates. Most of us in tech stopped going to aboki to access dollar. What did your demonic party called APC did, they cancelled the policy thereby allowing aboki to determine the value of dollar, what a nonsense. If you have any other metrics to measure the performance of your devilish party, please bring it on, not this nonsense you just wrote.

Since You're uncouth, I will trade with you likewise. You're a very big mumu and you're very ignorant. I don't want that back and forth argument with you. I don't have the time.

The 80 naira to a dollar was the bm rate. The official rate under abacha was 21 to 22 naira. Yet you claim you were buying at 170 under abacha. The aboki cheated you. Secondly, dollar arbitrage transactions were still rife under obj. We still had different rates. He didn't eradicate black market selling of dollars. Even today, people still buy dollars at the official exchange, so I don't know what you are boasting about. All the same, cheers and have a good Sunday.

OK, it seems you were correct , I am still surprised it was that low in 2015.

Anyway Buhari govt emphasised infrastructure development so $30bn debt rise is not too bad.

In 2015, FG external debt was $10bn… from 2015-2024, GMB and BAT have borrowed $40bn… and you’re still blaming GEJ.. facts dont matter to you

cheesy

Thats because GEJ was one of the few Presidents that ruled us after you

Jonathan was shit...Under him, billions was wasted for no just cause

I remember Dansuki
I remember Stella Oduah bullet proof cars

Ngozi Okonjo couldnt account for the missing $20m under her

GEJ oversaw the most corrupt practices ever in Nigerian history. The biggest heists too

We should skip his era and erase his name from our history
And what have you to say about leadership after GEJhuh

Go back to reading 101 class. Yar’dua came in after OBJ. GMB inherited $32bn in foreign reserves and $10bn in external debt.. GMB and BAT have borrowed $40bn with nothing to show for it. GMB and BAT inherited a GDP of $480bn…. They have shrunk it ti $240bn

I asked a simple question, what happened to the 16$ billion spent on power by his administration
What 16 billion dollars? Do u know what 16 billion is?..
Or u just pick unverified news from the opposition like the way they said 48 billions dollars has been stolen under Jonathan.

https://saharareporters.com/2019/07/18/there-was-never-time-nigeria-spent-16bn-our-power-sector-during-obasanjo-era-or-last-46
Nigeria has spent a total of $12.38 billion in the last 46 years. Between 1999 and 2019 Nigeria Spent N2 trillion .

Since the money was never budgeted for power sooo we could safely said that ur claim was wrong.

You could say that 16 billion was missing not say spent on power... U can't spend what was not budgeted

Dick head... Its an allegation made by opposition that hasn't been proven. Buhari said he will probe.. Where is the report?

Even ur current power minister acknowledge that there was nothing like 16 billion dollars spent on power

Give you Link to online news of 1999-2007 ? I can't give you that

All we know is the Obasanjo administration spent about 16$ on power, they said they would generate 10 MW of power which they never did,I heard that many times on the news on radio station and during campaign
