Its simply a political talk. He was never an illegal migrant. He was first their as a transfer student from canada to us where he completed his undegraduate degree then started a Phd in stanford before dropping out. He started a startup company which a student especially a exceptional one like him can start as long as the do it in collaboration with a citizen. They have special visa for that. 6) Nigeria took over from India as the Poverty Capital of the World in 2018. Why do you think that happened and what should be the reaction of the USA to Indian & Nigerian immigration, based on this data point? If you were President of the USA, based on USA interest, which country would be more attractive to you for getting immigrants?

7) Malaria is probably the most burdensome disease to humanity in terms of morbidity and mortality. Black Africa is particularly affected. Several drugs for malaria have been invented over the years. Who invented those drugs? Why?

He had a student visa.
He was here to study but never enrolled in school.
He was therefore out of status and fraudulently got his visa.

There are a lot of people who went out of status who had to leave the US.
He got benefits most wouldn't.

And the truth is that most immigrants are here legally. The US law allows for people to file asylum claims which take time to adjudicate (4+ years). Until they are denied they are technically here legally.
The problem is the asylum system is broken.
