The presidency has ruled out the possibility of former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Betta Edu, returning to President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.

DAILY POST recalls that Edu was suspended on January 8 following widespread anger over an alleged N585 million scandal.

Prior to the Wednesday cabinet reshuffling, there were speculations that the suspended minister may return to the government.

However, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said on Sunday that “Betta Edu is gone.”

According to him, the president has appointed her replacement from Plateau State.

“Betta Edu is gone. Her position has been taken by someone from Plateau State. As far as this government is concerned, there is no place for her in this cabinet.

“The EFCC has not shared what they have but if you go by what the president has done, it shows that EFCC must have submitted something that actually justified that suspension,” he said in an interview with Channels TV.

Since she said that Oyedepo's prayer is what made her a minister, I wonder whose prayer is preventing her from becoming a minister now. Or, has Oyedepo stopped praying for her?

For those quoting and telling me that God gave her the position, you are totally wrong. God gives potentials. Humans decide what to do with the potentials. What you do with your potentials position you for opportunities. What you do with your potentials determine what you benefit from the opportunities. It is the same way you have the choice to either use your ability for righteousness and inherit God's kingdom or use the ability to swim in sin and go to hell.

Intelligence is what God gave Betta Edu. She chose to utilise the gift to get herself career development opportunities. The career development earned her the political appointment, the same way her corrupt practices earned her the termination of the appointment. Another person can get the same gift and use it to japa. Are you aware that she served as a commissioner for many years and also served as the national president of a medical association without crediting those positions to Oyedepo's prayer?

In conclusion, her intelligence is from God but where the intelligence takes her to is her own effort. God gives talent but man decides what to do with the talent. Oyedepo's prayer didn't make Edu a minister.

I dey tell you. Even Osinbajo. If I tell you what they did when that agency was under Osinbajo, you won't believe me. I shared it once here and someone quoted me and said it was a lie! I had to attach the POS receipt of balance of 100 million naira in my wallet (you heard me right) before I later delete it to prevent trouble
