The outages in the north are the result of terrorism. If they keep exploding bombs around electricity installations, they should be left in darkness.
The DisCos are corruption cesspits. Unscrupulous workers there make money when the system has gaps. If everyone has prepaid meters, they become irrelevant. No more opportunities to drive up with a ladder and threaten disconnection, then make away with up to 5k per house. The insane amount they make from the disorder will be the biggest challenge in the quest to achieve stability in electricity supply.
