No one is talking about the drivers disrespectful attitude

The bolt driver is disrespectful

He should have delivered the damn package to the man's door and not telling him to come to his car door

Very disrespectful
Brain is not for everybody, see in some businesses everybody is equal so to you it is disrespectful to tell someone who order For package to come out to pick his package even if there is no kidnapping in d country it’s security wise for a rider to ask the person that order to come out after the package has been brought to his gate

Anyway T-Pain is gradually effecting everyone

How Tinubu Is Reversing The Damage Ironsi Did To Nigeria

One of the cardinal principles of President Tinubu's renewed hope agenda, which was prominently featured during the campaigns, was his promise to reform Nigeria by devolving power to the lower levels of government.

We have seen the first fruition of that promise with Local Government autonomy Local Government autonomy achieved via a judicial victory at the Supreme Court on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

But there is more.

Nigeria's golden age was the first five years after Independence when we practised regionalism. That is when we had our fastest and most consistent economic growth and were a lender nation rather than a borrowing country.

That idyllic situation was shattered on the night of January 15, 1966, when Majors Emmanuel Ifeajuna and Chukwuma That idyllic situation was shattered on the night of January 15, 1966, when Majors Emmanuel Ifeajuna and Chukwuma Nzeogwu executed their coups.

There was wild jubilation all over Nigeria after the January 15, 1966 coup, because Nigerians believed it was a patriotic and nationalistic coup. Then, the names of those killed were announced over the radio, and it was discovered that only people from the North, West and Midwest were killed, but no politician from the East was killed.

After the coup failed, the remaining cabinet members asked the British for military assistance, but the then British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Sir Francis Cumming-Bruce, said that such assistance would have to come from either the Prime Minister or an acting Prime Minister.

At that, there was a quarrel between the Northern Peoples Congress Ministers who felt that as senior members of the coalition, their candidate, Zanar Dipcharima, the Minister of Transport, should be sworn in as the acting Prime Minister. However, the NCNC Ministers felt Ozumba Mbadiwe should be the acting Prime Minister.

As a result of this stalemate, they invited the Attorney As a result of this stalemate, they invited the Attorney General of the Federation, Taslim Elias, who said the Constitution was on the side of the NPC.

From there, the rump of the cabinet proceeded to the acting President, Nwafor Orizu, to swear in Dipcharima. But Orizu demurred. And while the ministers waited, Major General Ironsi met with Orizu.

After that meeting, Nwafor Orizu made a national broadcast announcing that the cabinet had 'voluntarily' agreed to hand over to the military. There is controversy on whether the cabinet actually decided to do that. The NPC ministers have one version, while the NCNC ministers had another version.

What we know for a fact is that the next day, January 17, 1966, Major General Aguiyi-Ironsi announced the formation of the Supreme Military Council and the end of the First Republic.

What we know for a fact is that the next day, January 17, 1966, Major General Aguiyi-Ironsi announced the formation of the Supreme Military Council and the end of the First Republic.

Our economic challenges actually began when Major General Aguiyi-Ironsi abrogated regionalism and promulgated Decree Number 34 on May 24, 1966, which effectively ended regionalism, took control of all resources, including oil, which had hitherto belonged to the regions, and domiciled them in his military government.
Other members of the Supreme Military Council alleged that Ironsi did not consult them before promulgating the decree. It is not known if their allegation is true. However, Ironsi's Attorney General, Chief Gabriel Chike Michael Onyiuke, later said Ironsi did not need to consult them.

However, by creating regional development councils for each region and setting aside 15% of the Consolidated Revenue Fund as a source of funding for these commissions, President Bola Tinubu has effectively reformed Nigeria and brought back regionalism without militarism. These regional development commissions will eventually function like the regional governments of pre-1966 Nigeria, and Nigeria will ultimately return to her golden age of development.

This is a small sample of what is wrong in Nigeria.

Every politician sees himself as a tyrant and oppressor.

When policies are made, they make them for the 'masses', not because they want the best for them, but so that they can continue perpetuating class differences.

He even made threats to abduct the driver.

He should come try that shit here in E17 Walthamstow and see if he would not get stabbed with a zombie knife. grin

That bolt driver is very disrespectful, that's why most of these men hardly allow anybody to meet them. Give respect to whom respect is due, if the bolt driver is too proud then stop delivery.
What do you mean by disrespectful? So he should lick the clowns feet because he is whatever he is? It's people like you that make these misfits feel important. The man has brought his goods it's for him to come pick it up. It's even very unsafe for the driver to have driven into his compound with the way Nigeria is today.
I just wonder how you people reason. Try this in civilized countries and watch your political career die a natural death. Rubbish.

Okay, if you say so, grin I have never met a witch before so i can not relate. He could be videoing for his safety afterall, the senator assaulted him and made threats to abduct him so the recording was relevant. The senator could carry out his threats and no one woulda known the whearabout of the Uber driver without the video.

It is very wrong of the lawmaker to lay his hands on him. Very wrong of him.
The bolt driver is wrong too. The service is not complete until you deliver the goods. He was paid to deliver whatever it is, what stops him from doing so?
What the lawmaker should have dine is to report him...taking laws into his hand is a no no! The bolt driver is as wrong as lawmaker.

Stop encouraging animalistic behaviours. The driver was 100% correct in telling your ape and primitive lawmaker to come and get his items as the driver is not required to take any item to the lawmakers bedroom.
Nobody told that hemp smoking, tout looking, angry and grumbling emergency driver to come to the bedroom. Come to the bedroom with his body odour?

He parked far away and wanted the man to come and.meet him there. Who knows his plan? He wanted to show he doesnt respect anybody and was dutifully disrespected.

This one don buy market on top snail wey no go pass 10k.
First, they'd suspend him and commence investigation. All his benefits gone.
All those bad belle people around IGP would advice his security withdrawn and that would happen. He'll now need to arrange his own security.
His constituency people will deny his actions and berate him.
He'd apologize and tell us that's not how Aba people do and now look for the driver to appease him.
Meanwhile, things would get heated up in the background and many threats would be issued against him and he'd be running helter skelter bribing everyone so that his matter won't last long. The disciplinary committee would recommend stringent measures. If he's the chairman of any committee, that one is gone.
Civil society groups would write and write and write, at the end, the idiotic buffon would still be forgiven after he has spent a lot of money appeasing everyone. He'd spend millions, his image damaged, on top transaction less than 20k

I didn't not hear the cab driver insult the senator in any way. Sentiments apart, 'come and get your stuff from the car's, does that equate an insult?? Mind you, the cab was already in the compound. If the so called senator, in his arrogance, felt he couldn't pick up his own stuff, why couldn't he call on a member of his domestic staff to go pick up the stuff? No explanation justifies what he did to the cab man.

A Labour MP has been suspended by his party after CCTV caught him punching a man just hours ago in the UK. An investigation is ongoing. Does that happen in Africa?
Yes you are right but do you know that the same Labour party has disappointed so many people with the budget to be read in 2 days time. Many of their supporter have now left heartbroken for failing in their campaign promises just few months to their victory despite promising never to increase taxes for workers. How are they different from the 3rd world politicians? Go and listen to the BBC interview with a Labour politician and stop taking them as being better. When something happens in Nigeria, we quickly ask the question if such can happen in the UK or in the US. I must also say that I am not justifying the foolishness of the Nigerian politicians slapping people as if they are of less humans
