The northerners have been known to play the victim card hardest when it comes to hardship as a way of positioning themselves for the lion's share of govt interventions.

This isn't about victim card; Northerners aren't taking education seriously. Education enlightens people and prepares them for opportunities.

See how Nigerians from the South leave this country and move to other countries in search of opportunities. Once they get good jobs, they start working and start supporting their families in Nigeria.

On the other hand, northerners don't like competition. In fact, they cannot even compete in anything. That's why many of them are happily taking to begging to eke out their lives.
