iwaeda:What disparities again? Buhari spent 8 years enriching your people and impoverishing the South. For 8 years Fulanis wouldn't let our farmers rest. For 8 years and beyond, thousands of illegal Northern miners are going about their business mining gold and selling it for private pockets. For decades, you refused to train your children and give them the needed education apart from making them cram the whole kuran. For decades, you churned out almajiris, children born without proper care because you needed to prove to the South that you have the population. You armed your children with assault rifles to destabilize the country because of politics. But you're still not satisfied. You destroyed Nigeria, but don't want to suffer the consequences of doing that. De play. |

The North is poor, has been poor and will remain poor, as long as they refuse to embrace education and modern practices. Where you have a poor manual worker having more than 10 kids, and just letting them go off and become beggars, how the heck can such a society EVER progress? When Sanusi tried to tell them some home truths, they got rid of him. Now the man is quiet. They don't want to hear the truth. |

Is not due to economic disparity between north and south, but due to Islamic marrying of four wives and breeding of children they can not cater for. They are only useful during election to threaten south on voting pattern. After election, the alimanjiris become burden to the north. |

EmperorCaesar:There is no better praise mongers than those people that live after Edo, toward shagamu, extending left to Ibadan and right to Lagos. They can sing anyone's praise for crumb. |

It is a big paradox. The North has been in power more than any region in Nigeria. Yet, the Northerners are the majority of those in poverty. A big paradox indeed. |

Actually, the northern part of Nigeria is poor. Even if food and goods are cheap there. They lack innovation, modern, new, information and updated ways of life! |

bjdon:But what exactly is the problem? Isn’t it the same Islam they’re practicing that Dubai, Qatar, etc, are also practicing? I think the problem may have more to do with them being black Africans than anything else because i can’t put my finger on why they have refused to be a progressive society since the days of Sir Ahmadu Bello! |

IGBOPROMISE1:It's nothing to do with Islam. As you point out there are many developed Islamic nations. It's more to do with a regressive, feudal African mindset |

The average Northern man wants each wife to give birth to let's say 5kds funny enough he may end up marrying about 6 women though he'll have only four at a time. Imagine having 30 children. Why hardship no go dey. People de die here on a daily. I suspect Tinubu is trying to check our over population |
