I agree with you in full on this one. Let the lawmaker be made to pay a fine to the abused driver. Holding people accountable is the best way to correct criminality in any society.

He is only apologizing because he was caught on camera. Personally I feel he should be recalled because this kind of person has no business being a public official

In as much as I condemn his bad behavior, I am not unaware that's how many lawmakers in Nigeria behave. I have also not forgot that there's a lawmaker (presently serving) whom gun was found on him during election which he used to kill someone during 2023 election. That lawmaker went scot-free of all that crime and he's presently leading a committee in the chamber.
