World football is keenly competitive, coupled with the politics that comes with it.
At the least, Nigeria has it's place on the map, a reference point to gauge our performance and motivation for future improvement.

I disagree with you.
It's unfortunate that okocha was nominated for the Award when a certain Samuel Eto'o was at the peak of his strength for Barcelona. If Samuel Eto was not playing that time, Okocha would have won 2 African Caf Awards.

Oga, dribbling, being extremely skillful, throwing that mad killer pass, a touch of acrobatic control, and many more are extremely useful and needed in football.

We want to see more and more of these as we entertain ourselves with the game.

Sadly, we don't see more of these in this generation of two sure odds that has extremely damaged men's psyche.

All they want is for a player to put the ball at the back of the net and are threatening fire and brimstone for missed opportunities.
