pls leave that kind of job, that was how one school asked me to be taking biology ss1-3, agric jss1-ss3 , pHe jss1-3 and also work as hostel master of the hostel, i will be taking cab of 700 daily with a monthly pay of 100k i rejected the job and left the school, i later got a job very close to my house without the need to take transport and taking biology ss1-3 and agric ss1-3 with a monthly pay of 80k. Bro see dont let them use you oooo, most of these private schools are wicked and can waste your youthful days away. Leave their job for them and look for one that won't stress you much.

Of course, they won't allow it but they'll load you with work and make you work yourself to death.

Private schools can NEVER make life easy for you. If they don't take your suggestions on how to make things better, you either continue or you leave.

A third option is to do the much you can and default (intentionally or not) on the ones you can't. That way, they'll see it's difficult for you to meet up. They may take a decision from there, to lighten your burden or lay you off.

Sad. May God come through for you.

Nigeria, as it is, is already starving of want for good skilled teachers yet here you are trying to encourage one of the possibly good quality teachers available to go do something else. What nonsense is that?

Oga look for something else to do, you can be your own boss by arranging tutorial classes. That's what one of my neighbours is doing and she's doing fine.......Most students are having challenge with mathematics, you won't have problem attracting these students.

I'm paying a guy that his only job is just to watch over workers at my site 60k monthly, and he's even stealing my materials on top of that.
A graduate shouldn't be getting this kind of pay in a place he's even being overworked.

Be strategic and reserve you energy
Tell each children to bring a red pen to school
Solve the questions and put the answers on board
Tell each student to mark his/ her work with red pen and make corrections with the red pen
After this, assuming you have 10 questions, do a physical assessment of student performance eg students scored 1010 should show by raise of hand, student that sore 9/10 should raise of hand.
You can also be strategic and ask student that got answer to a particular challenging question should show by rais of hand.
Using this strategy you do 3 things at the same time: marking, correction and identifying student understanding of concepts.
The only thing you mark yourself is test and exams
I love teaching maths and I always find a way to better at it and I desist teachers that complain. It's either you go management for pay rise or simply resign.
