South eastern states should never tax their business men to death, just to carter to the hedonistic needs of a corrupt elite. That is your destiny in life. Paying irresponsible taxes to take care of your politicians owanbe lifestyle.., enjoy!. The tax regime in the east is designed to encourage greater reinvestment, and when you go to places like Aba and Onitsha, two self made south eastern cities, you will see that such policies are working effectively

Political office holders across all levels are grossly incompetent and extremely corrupt.

There is no reason why each local government in Nigeria cannot invest a minimum of N4b for industrial agriculture. Focus on cultivating two crops and or animal farming of which one must be a cash crop or export focused, where it has comparative advantage.
