That is the thing! The religion seems to revolve around demeaning and even humiliating the female in every way possible. She is reduced, contained, controlled, and for what... all for the pleasures of the man and his mighty manhood. When their egos and manhoods are pleased, only then do they declare their deity pleased or traditions served. And this is not in any way unique to Islam mind you cause there are cultures(equally religions) out there that operate the same way.

If a female can not assess a male doctor for her health challenge, how is a female doctor suppose to hear her out if they are banned from hearing each others voices?

Religion is a violation of humanity

It is not religion that is the problem. It is Islam and it's hardcore practitioners that are to blame. In Islam, a woman is the property of a man and that alone is a dangerous premise from which all kinds of projections and conclusions can arise. And one of such is what we are seeing playing out in Afghanistan.

Some Islamic apologies may come out to say Islam regard women as equals of.men, etc but a thorough reading of Islamic attitudes to women in contrast to men clearly established the fact that Islam regards women as properties of men and inferior in all regards to men. A man can beat his wife to correct her; The testimony of a woman is not equal to that of a man; Even in Janah, is it not women that would be available for the pleasure of men as rewards? The 72 virgins? What more depicts the total disregard of Islam for women?

The Taliban has banned women from hearing other women’s voices in its latest attempt to restrict women in Afghanistan.

In a voice message on Monday, October 28, the country’s minister for the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice announced the bizarre new restriction on women’s behaviour


“I feel depressed. The world is advancing in technology and having fun with their lives, but here we cannot even hear each other’s voices,” she said.

“They want us not to exist at all, and there’s nothing we can do about it,” another woman in western Herat province said.

“They may succeed at some point, as many are taking their lives due to the pressure,” she added

“They think ruling Afghanistan is only about suppressing women – we didn’t commit a crime by being born as women,” she said.

Below are some of the things the Taliban has said Afghan women are not allowed to do:

2.Speak in public

3.Speak loudly inside your house

4. Travel alone

4. Own a smartphone

6. Wear bright clothes

7. Wear high-heels

8. Go to high school or university

9. Sing

10. Read the Quran aloud in public

11. Look at men they don’t know

12. Attend a protest

13. Go to the gym

14. Go to the park

15. Work in the civil service

16. Ride in a taxi

17. Go abroad

18. Show their faces in public

19. Speak to a male doctor

20. Play sport
