My GTB bank account had just been credited and debited with a bigger sum. They first credited with an amount and later debited with a bigger amount.

I got alert for only the credit and no alert for the debit. I deliberately opened their app to see their criminal perpetration. Everything happened overnight. All their customer care lines are down as at now. One must enter banking hall now.

GTB Systems are still compromised. Beware!

Most of the pilfering from customers bank accounts are done by bank officials.

Lawyers in the house, can't customers sue them and cash out from this bulshit??

Beware, the credit and the debit happened. I checked how the credited amount was debited on the mobile app but no history of debit details so I had to check my Internet banking where I found the debit details without reference number of the debit. I am also surprised how it happens under 24hours. The credit alert is still on my phone.

my last credit before the upgrade which i have used was credited again same person same amount....
i just move my onw money and left the credit which the took back later....

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has made a significant breakthrough in its fight against cybercrime, arresting four individuals suspected of hacking into commercial banks’ computer systems. Chima Anthony Nwigwe, believed to be the mastermind behind the operation, was taken into custody alongside Effiong Victor Emmanuel, Mohammed Bello Mahmud, and Daminan Ali.

The suspects were apprehended in a sting operation in Abuja, following actionable intelligence gathered by the EFCC. According to reports, the individuals allegedly compromised bank databases, facilitating fraudulent transfers and withdrawals through various digital platforms.

Alleged Crimes:
Conspiracy
Unauthorized access to banks’ computer systems
Fraudulent withdrawal of depositors’ funds

The EFCC has confirmed that the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigations. This development highlights the commission’s commitment to tackling financial crimes and protecting the integrity of Nigeria’s banking system.

Similar efforts by the EFCC have led to the arrest of 33 suspected internet fraudsters in Port Harcourt, with items recovered including fake dollars, laptops, and mobile devices. The commission’s Enugu Zonal Command also arraigned an individual for N11.4 million fraud.
