Anybody telling you nigeria will later become a great country is either the person is saying it because his or her tribe's person is the president or what his region is gaining from country called nigeria, tell me why a country with crude oil cannot refine its own crude oil, today dangote refinery Is here yet the same story, why can't dangote charge government for refining the crude oil then government will sell the product to Nigerians at cheaper rate since the crude oil is from our lands

Re: Dangote: Retailers Ignoring Over 500 Million Litres Of Fuel From Our Refinery by Obiwank: 8:03pm On Oct 29, 2024
Dangote is just being cute.

He should disclose the wholesale price of his gasoline. The rest of the math is then simple. Just like in other markets, this price is expected to fluctuate based on market conditions most importantly the cost of crude.

I hope the Tinubu administration holds the line on this. They are very close to solving this petrol issue. Its should be a competitive market with no government intervention except for quality control and tax charges.

Dangote should compete with importers and hopefully other upstart refineries.

If the price does not work for him, then he exports to other markets (earning much needed foreign exchange for Nigeria). However, if his price is not competitive locally and internationally, then it raises a fundamental question about his refinery.

Never as does not make commercial sense and soon enough what happened to all state owned refineries would happen to it.

The European Cabal in Rotterdam are funding the enemies of Nigeria and God will reward them accordingly.

Why can't FG just buy over this Refinery rather than just frustrating this man.

Buy over, then employ a private firm to help manage while you heavily regulate and monitor their operations.

If a man less powerful as Dangote had entered this refinery business, he would have been burnt.

I now forgive all those who got licenses during Obasanjo and opted not to build any refineries and were enjoying free subsidy money jejely.

I knew there was a cabal in the oil and gas sector, but I did not know they will be so blazen in their approach.

Dangote, you will surely overcome, God is with you, the president is with you, the good people of Nigeria are also with you. All those forces wherever or whoever they may be will be eventually dismantled.
The president is among the cabals

Dangote is a learner, the forces that operate in oil and gas downstream sector will frustrate him, I pray he won't regret investing in that sector

I agree, since there are willing buyers from overseas he should export everything and let the greedy importers source their own foreign exchange to import and sell at a loss without the corruption ridden goverment subsidy.
Some Nigerians are extremely unreasonable and greedy.
They can't sell at a loss, that's the problem. They will create artificial scarcity and increase the price now. This is Nigeria with useless government and greedy citizens, don't forget

Re: Dangote: Retailers Ignoring Over 500 Million Litres Of Fuel From Our Refinery by Dbeliever(m): 8:55pm On Oct 29, 2024
Dangote should come out clear on his price of petrol and stop this mess. Nigerians needs to know the difference that exist in importing and picking from his refinery. At the end he will start saying that the marketers are frustrating his business and before you know Dangote will be talking about exporting petrol only.

Oga. Sell to MRS. or float a retail company and start blinding those greedy marketers.

Tinubu too can now subsidize part of the cost now since production is now domiciled in Nigeria and crude is being sold in Naira. I don’t see why we can’t be buying it at N500. Just that those smugglers would start facing borders with our petrol nikan ni problem t’aani.

Nigeria is always at crossroads.

Some Nigerians are extremely unreasonable and greedy.
Tell your overly greedy Dangote to say how much he's selling to marketers that's making them to prefer to buy from outside.
If they see that buying from outside with the attendant foreign exchange hassle is still cheaper than Dangote price then it's their decision to make.
Why is Dangote keeping his price secret?

Dangote is the problem. I'd he allow the government/NNPC to refine at his plant and buy him the refining cost all this issue would be over .

But he wants to buy and sell at exorbitant price. Tell the government how much it will cost to refine oil and allow the government pay the refining cost.

The NNPC already doing oil swap deal.

Heffalump:
Nigerians, what you should all know about the troubles surrounding Dangote Refinery is that, it's from the presidency. There's something Tinubu and his men are hiding from public glare.

There's an intentional act to sabotage the Refinery. Period!
The CEOs of both the NMDPRA and NNPCL are used as the invaluable tools to destabilize Dangote Refinery.
What has Tinubu got to do with this? He was the one that suggested the naira for crude purchase, so tell me... what would he stand to gain? He could as well look away and sell our crude to international buyers and earn some FX... The problem is the canals(multinationals) are fighting back cause they were kinda compelled to sell to dangote using the PIB... So these lot will sponsor those evil marketers to boycott dangote at all cost.. Dangote is stock in the middle cause he got the crude in naira and it's tied to a deal with the FG.... else ordinary Ghana go don come buy everything since yesterday! Pathetic... 🤦‍♂️

Mr DANGOTE stop speaking long grammars , how much will you or are you selling your Petrol to marketers
I wonder why it is hard for this man to open his mouth and tell Nigerians how much his petrol is selling it is obviously higher and the profit margin for the retailers very small, that is the only cause they are avoiding it,how can it be possible for crude oil sourced and refined in Nigeria will be more costly than imported fuel? something is wrong
