Islie:The independent marketers are business men. They are not averse to a profitable deal. If they were getting a better deal frm Dangote than they are importing PMS, i am sure they would jump at it. Why is Dangote so cagey about the cost of a liter of PMS from his refinery? Can he tell the public how much it costs so that we can now know if the marketers are deliberately trying to dupe Nigerians? Besides, was it not this same Dangote that was mouthing off about how he will e port his fuel to foreign markets if he could not get any off takers locally? |

Linkzlikz:The president is the GCON and MPR, he can give orders and in less than 2 hours everybody will sit upright. Did you hear Farouk, the CEO of NMDPRA making silly comments few weeks ago that the Refinery is not licensed to operate yet, that it's still under commissioning? And so importation must continue. Forget all those drama about crude for naira arrangement. It's good but they could be using that to delay public understanding of the whole saga. Tinubu is a well-bred thief and crafty/ sneaky politician. There's no smoke without fire. Dangote Refinery is currently smoking!! |

prophetfire:It takes only one call from the presidency to dangote to dispose the product to international market and trust me there will be enough in profit to go round! Fuel is sold in Ghana today at N1900 equivalent, so there's enough premium to go round even if it's sold to Ghana at 1500 per liter cause the actual truth is that the ex-refinery price is less than a 1000. But in oil and gas business there's always a forecast of what ifs... The terminology behind this deal is that, the crude is still sold in dollars but payable in naira by the refiners... so when the naira takes a dive in the FX exchange you should expect some increment in price of the product too... The multinationals are the main saboteurs cause they don't like the existence of dangote refinery to start with... the question is simple... where are these evil marketers going to source their FX from if not from the same multinationals just to keep dangote off business... it's really crazy and the presidency hands are tied cause you can't compel those evil marketers to buy from dangote... you'll be suprised the deduction they're requesting is more than 200 naira per liter, that you can tell when dangote opened the yansh of NNPC themselves that is ex-refinery price is less than 900 naira and NNPC added a premium of almost 140 per liter... this matter long but na God go save us... 🤦♂️ |

Heffalump:Remove that your sentimental glasses and look at issues with your naked eyes! All this your biases is because of your party affiliation or favorite for presidency... Sacking Farouk doesn't even solve the problem cause even the president can't compel ordinary me to do business with dangote! Nigeria is an equity investor in dangote refinery... it only takes one call from the presidency to dangote to sell those half a billion stock at international rate and make better profit! So apply common knowledge not sentiments...🤓 |

Linkzlikz:There's no sentimental innuendos here, my friend. I urge you to put on your glass prism to enable you see and understand the political power play. I don't know your age, but if you've been familiar with how dirty politics have been played in Nigeria, you won't have difficulty understanding. Save this conversation for future reference, ok. |

Heffalump:Let me ask you... what do you think it's stopping dangote from selling the product in tank to international buyers? It's common knowledge that the business is tied to an agreement(naira for crude) by the FG so indirectly the FG has the first right of refusal in this case... Mind you, NNPCL is a private company now so exercising federal power isn't applicable here! The sacking of Farouk will need to go to vote of no confidence with the BOTs... I'm old enough to know all the tricks played in oil and gas cause that's my field! 😉 |

The only reasons why the marketers are not patronising Dangote is : 1. Pricing issues 2. Payment terms disagreements, or 3. Systemic distribution challenges in the fuel market- trucking the petrol instead of using pipelines has become a problem because of transportation costs

MorataFC:Dangote fuel is not suppose to be sold more than N200. But would the greedy man sell? The answer is NO..!! He is the main person behind the increased price of cement in this country. |
| Re: Dangote: Retailers Ignoring Over 500 Million Litres Of Fuel From Our Refinery by Elliotwaveforec: 10:49pm On Oct 29, 2024 |
Lol! The truth of the matter is that the demand for petrol has reduced drastically. The rhetoric from his comment is that he would like to go into retail petrol business, to sell his products. |

9jatriot:Oga stop saying rubbish. How much is Dangote's price in the first place. Why are they hiding the true cost of his fuel. If truly it made sense no retailer would even reconsider importation, when government is no longer going to pay any subsidy or shortfall. |
| Re: Dangote: Retailers Ignoring Over 500 Million Litres Of Fuel From Our Refinery by Ogegod87: 4:26am On Oct 30, 2024 |
My questions goes thus; What happened to our own refinaries? Why are they not working? Shouldn't Tinubu have put them in good working conditions before removing subsidy? The dangote fuel in question, how much is it? |
| Re: Dangote: Retailers Ignoring Over 500 Million Litres Of Fuel From Our Refinery by RayRay2022: 4:35am On Oct 30, 2024 |
lol is this some sort of a joke? What scarcity are you referring to?? Alaye people aren’t buying fuel anymore. A lot of people have parked there cars. My friend who works in a filling station lost his job, because of low patronage of fuel. So their station had to reduce staff. People aren’t buying fuel like that anymore. Fuel stations are closing down smh |
| Re: Dangote: Retailers Ignoring Over 500 Million Litres Of Fuel From Our Refinery by RayRay2022: 4:39am On Oct 30, 2024 |
Believeintruth:Here is what happened, Tinubu and Kyari made a deal with Dangote. So they have a cut in the sale of the fuel. Dangote would sell at 400# for instance, buh Tinubu and Kyari insisted on getting a cut. Did you not see how fuel went from 690 to 860 and then 1080?? People need to understand this has nothing to do with inflation. If u study inflation, no country that has an economic meltdown did their fuel price go this high, not even Venezuela or Zimbabwe. |
