After upgrading my iPhone 14 Pro Max to the 16, I didn’t see any reason to keep two phones, so I decided to sell the older model. I listed it on eBay, and soon received a message from a potential buyer. He asked me to send a short video of the phone before making any payment and provided his personal email address through my eBay account. Below is a screenshot of our conversation.

My question is this: Why do some of us act this way? Even after spending thousands of pounds to "japa" from Nigeria, some people still choose these dishonest paths abroad and continue to blame the Nigerian government for their actions. Although I could press further and get him arrested, I’ve decided not to be the tool that his “village people” use to bring him down. |

This is for the IDIOTS who claim Yahoo Boys are taking REPARATIONS for colonialism. Scammers and their sycophants are TERRIBLE people. They use excuses and rationalisation to hide the fact that they are CRIMINALS who do HORRIBLE things to REAL people. The fact is a SCAMMER who will steal from a 75-year old retired GRANDMA in America will have NO problem KILLING your 21-year old daughter for rituals. Some people say it's NONE of their business because it doesn't affect them until it DOES. Plus, the DAMAGE they do to our collective reputation as a country is UNBELIEVABLE. CONDEMN ALL Yahoo Boys! REPORT ALL Yahoo Boys! |

Nigerians stuck in naija are asking that the op bring down the "scammer" Wicked people! How or what have you done to bring the ones here down? |
| Re: My Encounter With A Nigerian Scammer In The UK by optm(m): 12:25pm On Oct 30, 2024 |
NaijaGoBetter2:You think you are being nice by letting him off the hook and continue with his business of scamming people? That's how you contribute to allowing a once sane society decay. Allow evil and see it takeover. You had better helped the authorities to locate that guy and save other innocent citizens. If he wants to take to scamming, he should have stayed back in naija. You may say it really doesn't concern you but you should know that as a black immigrant, there is a collective identity we share and every black person contributes to that identity. If you allow a scammer go on rampage for some sentiment and not seeing his acts as criminal and should be stopped, you shouldn't feel bad and call it racism or profiling when other persons subconciously starts relating with like you are a scammer . |
| Re: My Encounter With A Nigerian Scammer In The UK by optm(m): 12:31pm On Oct 30, 2024 |
ObalendeCMS:This your kind of reasoning is what has allowed decay in the naija. You share same criminal values with the scammer that is why you are speaking in his defence. He could have stayed back in naija to face his scaming business rather than export his criminality |
