It's surprising that Zamfara with enormous mineral resources is one of poorest on the list. Ditto for Nassarawa and Plateau.

This is very unfair. Osun isn't doing bad at all. They only need to do better. Which state in the South West are you expecting osun to surpass ? Which one . That state is purely an agrarian state . However, they can still do better cut we should also applaud them for supposing , sokoto where most edibles comes from. Kogi which is a gateway to the nations capital with more Industries etc. similar to Ogun but yet untapped. If osun is given more time they will develop well. However the former handlers of the state weren't ambitious enough to go that high.

Wonder why South West like seeing big figures for their various state in the name of IGR instead of looking at their state infrastructural development and impact of overtaxing on their populace into abject poverty. Human development is more important than IGR that end up in politicians pocket.

Ogun has a cargo airport. The state doesn't need conventional airport because it is close to an international airport in Lagos.

Only one of the three Southeast states you mentioned deserve to have an airport. That's because their region is very small and not as big as Oyo. So what's the need of them all having an airport when they are not too distant from each other? Are the airports even viable?

Pls ask the guy, how many aircrafts have landed in Ebonyi airport?

In the amount of IGR generated, Osun State generated 27B in 2023 while during the previous APC government, the State generated 24.7B. That’s quite an achievement in a year after Adeleke took over. It’s not the ranking that matters but rather an increase of over 9% in a year.

It's not just the growth % you look at bit the base on which the growth comes from.

Imo airport is a federally owned and operated facility.

Ebonyi own is long dead even before it's completion.

Historically,the Lagos State,started this IGR,to measure the Economic Activities of each Constituents ( Local Govt,etc) contributions,then!
As at Today,any States not getting enough IGR- is using the Federation Accounts Oil-Money for itself, instead of Adding More Money from the State!
i.e Governor is Not Contributing any Economic Growth to the State ,then why is he in the State at all when the State is Not developing?
- Davido and his Dancing Brother- Adeleke,will soon come and tell us,why you should vote him the Second time!
