Fubara should obey Court Judgements and present budget to the legally recognized House of Assembly and there will be no problem.

We may dislike Wike and his politics.

But it makes no sense that Governor Fubara is running an entire state on the basis of decisions taken by a 4 - man house of assembly.

If i were Fubara, rather than these threats of crisis, I would ignore Wike, and open up channels of rapprochement with the other legislators so as to restore a semblance of peace to my state. Sometimes you need to stoop to conquer.

Frankly this war with Wike does River State no good. Fubara cannot expect to ride on a tiger's back to government house and so carelessly want to jettison the tiger without any resistance.

But he needs to take charge of his state and make peace with all stakeholders.

Does it change much? Rivers state has the 2nd highest igr after Lagos. Fubara without lg allocations still has so much money to play with.

Fubara should also be a bit clairvoyant in anticipating his adversary's next move. That way, he'd be a step ahead of them.

Instead of looking at the facts, most are just condemning the judgement and blaming Wike. Justice is blind and has no emotional feelings. It's not democratic for a four man assembly to make laws for a state because they are not a quorum

Though the decision is painful to all yet the court actually made constitutional pronouncement. Fubara is wrong for not ironing things out with these folks in state assembly. He should know he cannot do without them. And those encouraging Fubara to carry on are not helping him at all.

There should be a status quo on both part but stopping a state allocation is tantamount to tampering with his immunity. It is wrong. Let's call a Spade a Spade. Those that took him to court are not the executives that does the day to say running of the state. This is an abuse totally unacceptable. Soon the man will declare that the state cannot pay salaries.

The truth is that we are not practising democracy in Nigeria...its worse than autocracy cos in military regime , its only the head of state that is the dictator..... the head of state under military rule use soldiers and guns to commit their own crime ... but in democracy, we have multiple dictators , from president to governors and ex governors and they use the judges and gavel to commit these crimes .

You have said exactly the truth....Nigerians are just always emotional to accept the truth. This often makes us disobeying the rules and regulations yet we claim to be more religious than the white. What a pity that we all love to support the evils emotionally.
