This is the newest pictures from the construction works going on at the flyover project along the Enugu - Abakaliki Federal highway project. This flyover project is located at Eke Obinagu express junction, near NNPC depot Enugu. The pace of work here is encouraging.

The whole area you saw in the pictures below were previously filled with market stalls and shops. Thousands of shops were hastily demolished last year to give way for this new development this year. Make shift traders still come out to set up shops here every morning, to vacate around 10 pm. It's a very busy road junction.

Nice one! There is really a need for the bridge as that junction is always busy especially for traffic inbound to Abakaliki, Ikom, Cameroon etc.

That market needs to be relocated ASAP.Akanu Ibiam Airport Perimeter Fence course closely that area while NNPC Enugu depot is also around that area.

No, the airport is still far, up to another 3 kilometre. NNPC fence is nearby in this flyover. But the main thing is that the traffic planned to move from Emene into Akpuoga town will move right under this flyover, and into the planned Enugu smart city project, which will be located at Akpuoga, Emene, Onugba, Nchatancha, Umuode, Oruku, Amaechi Idodo and Owo towns.

Nice development. That is an aspect of Enugu state that has been neglected by successive administrations for years. This place is an eyesore when viewed from flights inbound Akanu Ibiam Airport Emene.

These people are experts at projecting their problems on others. Just imagine thr same people that are known for drug business world wide are the same people that are quick to call others drug baron. There are many other examples of projection from that side.
The level of hypocrisy is simply astonishing.

OKay, as President of Nigeria, I hereby decree that as part of my Renewed Cities initiative, we would be renewing the cities of Ibadan and Enugu and Kaduna to start with , as well as Kano (we have to keep the Nawth happy, now).

Each and every city will recieve a grant of 1 trillion US dollars for renewal projects. We will give each city new skyscrapers, new beautiful housing, and new metro systems, and there would be no brown roof . (We will also build a new mansion for myself in my hometown, complete with helipad and twenty bedrooms, to add to my 10 mansions, and 40 bungalows. DO i not deserve it?)

But in return, the residents of the four cities will pay a monthly council tax of 800000 naira. TO use the new metro in their city would cost N10000 a trip. This is to cover maintenance and upgrade costs. After all, we all have to share the burden so that our great great grandkids will reap the benefits.

SO, I will be signing this into law at 9pm tonight. Payment of council tax starts Nov 1. Are you with me?

Flyovers will solve our many infrastructural problems. When you move some distance then go up and come down, booooom......all is well. From South to North, flyovers.
