The votes of the people can't make any of the candidates the next president. It is only the votes from 270 delegates from the electoral college that counts. Whoever wins the general election will only win the popularity votes, and will not become the president.

It's not true... The electoral college voters usually vote in line with popular votes of their zones.... Almost certainly!

Trump lost his reelection bid because he was busy playing politics with COVID instead of taking bold steps to tackle it. If Americans reelect Trump, there's no difference between them and Nigerian voters. This is me being modest because I don't want to say that they will be as daft as Nigerian voters.
