If u are able to log in to gt acct and make the visa payment, you shud be able to log in and locate where to reprint the ild receipt, if u still cant, find a young person around you, who can go truthe steps..its quite simple and intuitive

Hello. So update on this.
I tried tracking on CEAC and it was still saying “Your search did not return any data”. So I decided yesterday to try booking for pickup at OIS and behold I saw that my passport was ready for collection. I picked up my passport today. So you can check on OIS to see if yours is ready for collection. And funny enough my friend submitted before me (September 24th) but her own is not ready for collection.

I need help.
I created my profile on AVITS and generated payment receipt which I made via transfer on the 29th October. I generated a 2nd payment receipt for my son and I also made payment using same profile. I checked after 24hrs and I went to my account and think I created a new profile because it keeps asking me to make payment again.
This is the 3rd day, I have sent 4 support tickets, none has been responded to. I'm so worried about losing the money especially the one I paid for my son.

It appears you migrated yourself from the old system...and didnt wait for the system/avits to migrate you.....

If so..only possible way out is to open a ticket and send screenshots of your old iw date from the old portal......or have you tried rescheduling a new appointment entirely??.if i recall correctly..thats what i did..after I was migrated

Thank you for your response. I can now see the initial appointment on the site. However am unable to pick a date, it keeps saying ‘Something went wrong, please try again later’.

After reaching out all they keep telling me is to change password and wait for 48hrs.

It's over a month now and still getting same error. User is inactive.

I don't know if I should create a new profile and submit a ticket for this.

Hi, you see that pending appointment, click on it and it will bring another payment receipt, click on generate, then there should be a cancel icon on the top right corner. When you cancel, it’s going to bring where you will input your amentum reference number and the date you made the payment. I had same issue for days and i was able to move past that stage this morning.

I am the son but I used my sister as the one paying. She didn’t go with any bank statement of account too.

Hi Hemstone, can you give a range of what you think the person paying should give for their salary on DS-160?

Only go to the OIS on the day of your AVITS appointment date , you can book OIS on same date but they don’t really ask for the OIS appointment but on the AVITS, they currently have a list everyday based on the people who booked appointment on AVITS website

I don't know much about this new system but from what I've read, it is separate account. You can also check on the embassy website. There should be a guidline on visa application process.

Unfortunately, it’s no more showing in Gtbank internet banking. Looking like they wiped all the previous transactions since they are no more working with the embassy.

You can't pay for two parties with a single account. One of the payment you made is gone and will be forfeited

I also had similar issue. I raised ticket and did all but nothing was done. I had to pay another fee visa and it worked.

God knows I am getting fed up
I've made my payment since the 2nd of October and I am yet to be able to book an appointment
I've used the Amentum number, it says successful but nothing comes up
I've raised several tickets and they keep closing them and referring me to the 1st ticket I raised concerning this issue
I just called them now and the agent said it is the Bank reference number that has OIS I should use, I used it and it says given the payment receipt something does not exist
What else can I do, please??

That's not true. You can use one single account to pay for more than one person.

You book the appointment and confirmed before paying for another applicant.

the visa category i paid for was F1, i uploaded the person’s i20 and i waited for approval to proceed to picking a date. With the 2nd application, you can read up on the page and see people with multiple application. I think someone had applications for his family.

Raise a ticket on the profile, they will update it to the new DS-160

You don’t have to give a range, except you mean if the VO ask you. On the DS160, you don’t need to fill the person paying for the trip salary, just their name is needed. The salary there you need to fill is for the person traveling . I guess it would be different if you are the one traveling and also the one paying for your trip, meaning your salary must be reasonable for you to be able to sponsor yourself. I don’t know about the range for that.

Please I need help! I created DS-160 and didn’t get to the stage to enter my date of birth before I copied the application ID and proceeded to making MRV fee payment on AVITS. I just realized now that I can’t access my DS-160 using that application ID, even after providing the first five letters of my first name and my the answer to my security question. I can’t proceed because my date of birth was never entered. I have now created an Emergency Assistance ticket on AVITS and lodged the complaint. If that won’t work, I’d really appreciate any advice you may have for me.

Has anyone experienced this. I tracked my application online and it says approved, while my sons own has moved from approved to issued , but mine is still showing approved. Is there an issue?
