Kobojunkie:Popular opinion and demand made Northern Nigeria practice Sharia law. Even though Christians live there, the majority had their way. Back to Ned ,I'm sure being a senator, he's in a good position to know how these rich people spend. It's enough to affect when you realize most foreign embassies collect their visa applications in forex. Same for schools too. And hiring these our top celebrities is done in forex even in Nigeria. Let the FG stop this practice first and let's see if it doesn't make a difference |

ayindejimmy:I disagree because history tells us differently! Sharia was imposed on the people since a referendum was actually never helped to ascertain what it was the people wanted before that decision was made. ![]() 2. Stop lying! ![]() Isn't he of the same set of lawmakers who last year concluded that eliminating fuel subsidy at a go— not drawing it down as the previous administration had instead done— would have little to no impact on Nigerians and the economy? Many of them also went on TV to state this but we all know the eejits are mostly disconnected from the life of average Nigerians. So, why in the world would you think it makes sense to now suggest Ned Nwoko has so much more knowledge than the average Nigerian on the street, and use that as a basis to support this ludicrous idea he puts forward without so much as a pinch of evidence to back up the claims made? ![]() 3. You mean like FG stopped Fuel subsidy last year and Nigerians are still paying through the nose for that even that one decision? ![]() |

Kobojunkie:He was interviewed based the bill he sponsored and that's what the discussion is based on. I don't know why you just want to twist the narration since you said his proposal is can't work |

Ttalk:What bill did he sponsor and how did you come to conclude that what he said and the bill itself makes sense... please answer the question already! ![]() 2. Where exactly did I say his proposal can't work, by the way? And what do you mean by Work? ![]() |

Ttalk:What popular opinion has ever solved any problem as far as Nigeria is concerned? Have the Nigerians ever had the chance at a referendum since at least 1960, to begin with? ![]() |

Ttalk:Good... so we have an example to work with. ![]() 2. We were on the issue of popular opinions and to gather that we would need a sort of referendum, would we not? ![]() On the issue of Naira gaining its value. Where is the evidence that the Naira's lost value is partly due to the use of foreign currency by a huge minority in transactions though? Where is the evidence that this bill would help the Naira gain its value? Where? ![]() |

Kobojunkie:Your comment is an evidence that education has lost its value in Nigeria. What was the value of Naira compared to Benin Cefa in 5 years back? If Cefa can gain value over naira in the past 5years shows a decline in naira value. Now look up for the number of the elites that seeks medical and educational assistance abroad in the past 20 years compared to the number that seeks external assistance in the past 5years |
