the nationality is where the plane is registered. simple as that. the child can also claim the parents nationality but that option is very clear.

The Nationality of the parents is primary. That isn't even an option as it is statutory.

As for the Country the plane is registered to and the country whose airspace you are in that is dependent on the laws of the countries involved as some countries have laws against it.

And the reason airlines don't like carrying pregnant women isn't nationality, it is because maternal healthcare and delivery is stressful and dangerous. It is also for the health on the mother and child

My late grandma was born on a boat, they name her Omotoko (Urobo for boat baby), our traditional names used to be unique to circumstance around birth but later African parents started getting lazy to name babies.

Automatically the country you travelling to except some Arab countries e:g UAE, Qatar, Kuwait which do not give certificate of birth rather residence permit

If you are heading to the united states or British no sane person will claim to be a Nigerian citizen.
If I was born in that circumstance I can only choose to be a citizen of this country by default.
