Hello guys so i’ve been looking for the best possible way to have my sister send me a phone she got for me in the US.

i stumbled upon this guy’s thread and i discovered that dhl now work with custom to extort nigerians.
so my question is, would it be possible for her to unbox the iphone and hide it in a cheap clothing she will be sending along with the phone.

if that’s not possible, what other options are there for me to successfully get the phone to nigeria.

If your sister has the receipt of the phone and $8-10 isn't too much to ship the phone with, you can ship it down to Nigeria with Heroshe

I can assure you that the phone won't get to you if it was unbox and hiden in a cloth.... So far the phone was not declared while shipping... It will never get to you and there is no one you can accused cos it wasn't declared....

yes receipt is available. it’s an iphone 16pro max, they charge based on the value or weight of the item, i meant for the heroshe?

I will suggest she wait until she can find someone coming to Nigeria, and send it through them. Then you find a way to go and get it from the person.

Heroshe charges per kg. Your phone will get to you and you won't have to deal with the custom bullcrap, as long as you can provide them the receipt when the product gets to your address with them.

Either you ship through what the person above said or you wait till she's having someone come down and she send it through him or her

Perhaps you could partner with one of the numerous shippers on Nairaland who handle phone imports. I doubt theirs gets detained like a Binance executive.

It could be an e-receipt, a store issued receipt, or anything at all that showed that she purchased it. It must carry your name though.
