Krismas:Lol, you don't understand there is nothing to understand. Simple: bitcoin is worth $72K because people are willing to pay that much for it. Dollar is at least backed by the stability of US govt. If tomorrow US experiences a military coup that'd be end of dollar as store of foreign reserve! |

saintcasmir:It was designed to make Chinese yuan more dominant, typically because China is the biggest economy in the club. That being said, Brazil is home for Embraer aircraft’s that currently dominates the regional route flights around the world and have a chunk of the private jet markets too. I don’t think they want an alliance that will pitch them against their western world’s market. |

Krismas:The claim that the US printed $3 trillion in one month is false. I'd like to see reliable sources confirming India made this statement. It defies logic. China sells bonds to the US and it buys bonds from the US, which raises questions. If India and China are allies, not united against the success of the West (United on their shared hatred for the West), why would India claim the US prints money exceeding its production capacity, while China finances this printing? It seems contradictory. Here's a source that fact check the lie https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2022/04/14/fact-check-federal-reserve-has-balance-sheet-9-trillion/7198368001/ |

Krismas:iOS and Mac are backing the dollar even when most of it is produced in China. That's why China would always support the US in printing more dollars. China gains from US wealth and would always support the US so it could make more wealth from the US. It's very obvious that the United States had left the manufacturing industry for China and focused on Technology industry. |

smokinloud:I don’t now have the source to my claim. But I believe an Indian delegate to the last BRICS summit made such claim. Which I possibly took out of context. Maybe it was three months leading up to August and not for August alone. The error is entirely my fault. When you sell bonds, you want to borrow money. It’s dat simple. And buying bonds, u want to invest or loan money for its interest. So, if China buys American bonds, or sells Chinese bonds to America, how does that concerns China with America printing dollars? And what if the printing is digital and not paper or mint money? |

QuinQ:I don’t know what commodity nations exchange with nations using bitcoin? Bitcoin seeks to bypass financial institutions and is more and more going to receive crackdown from governments. The value of bitcoin is high because it’s used for funding criminal activities like money laundering, assassination, prostitution, drug trafficking, trafficking in persons, organ sales, slave trade etc. it’s used for horrible sundry illicit business. Hence it attracts high patronage. So, stop mentioning bitcoin in a discussion of money. Paper currency in the past, used to be mere receipts showing you have gold in the bank until the 70s, when America confiscated everyone’s gold and told people that the receipt they now have in their hands is now effectively their gold. The only reason why such nonsense piece of paper is accepted outside their country is cos they made an arrangement with Saudi Arabia plus OPEC to accept the piece of paper only for trading their crude. In exchange for security of navigation on the seas and weapons supplies for 50yrs. Now the deal has lapsed. And Saudi is yet to renew it. Saudi sees that America cannot defeat Houthi blockade on the seas and also American weapons are neither the best nor are they affordable. Essentially America can’t hold up their end of the bargain. So, why don’t countries simply return back to trading with gold among themselves? What is the need for any GREEN-BACKED note as intermediary? It’s not called gold-backed, but green-backed. Useless, backed by nothing, payed for by Saudi oil. While they can sit back and print as many as they want to sponsor useless wars around the globe and sanction anyone they don’t like with it. So, a new means for international transactions is UNSTOPPABLE. It’s already happening in BRICS, using their local currencies to trade among themselves and India’s financial arrangement with UAE bypassing SWIFT. By and by, nations will finally agree on what will be the international standard of exchange and dollar will be confined to the cabbage of international monetary history |

Krismas:You are clueless. Both the world's richest man, Elon, and the man likely to win, Trump, are both gung-ho on crypto. If bitcoin's value stems from it being used for nefarious activities, why is an ugly Picasso worth millions? Answer that question and you'll learn why bitcoin is so valuable. You people TOTALLY forget the Euro, which was backed by more economic powers than BRIC. Before it's launch in 1999 it was touted as the end of the dollar! Can you explain to us why it barely had any impact? Oil stopped being reason for dollar a long time ago. The opposite is now the case - Saudis now HAVE TO sell their oil in dollars. The dollar is no longer backed by petrodollars at all, it is instead backed by the fact it has been established as means of international trade and by stability and reliability of US govt. Ukraine and the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic are the most recent of challenges the dollar has faced, but human mentality and the way things are structured make it highly unlikely that the greenback will be replaced as the leading reserve currency in the world anytime soon.

Krismas:Okay, but do you understand how bonds work?. When the US government buys bonds they buy it with newly created money (digital or cash). If you buy bonds then you're supporting the state to print more money. |
| Re: Brazil 2nd Brics Country After India Not To Join China's BRI. by Krismas(m): 2:45pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
QuinQ:U are entitled to ur own opinions. I merely gave u a slight history of how paper currency evolved, so u can research it some more. But asking why Picasso is expensive is very unintelligent indeed and suggesting that since the likes of Trump use Crypto then the Coins worth must stern from something other than the crime it helps to facilitate, is beyond dumb. U think Trump and Musk are clean? Why do most governments ban crypto? Then America maybe touted as the highest producer of oil but America consumes almost all the oil it produces, necessitating buying to fill up its daily oil needs. When has EU ever wanted to replace the dollar, when all they do, is behave like America’s puppet? The need to replace the dollar is not born out of hate for America or any such silly notion. It’s the inadequacy of the dollar. The balance of trade between America and China is 1:3, meaning America needs China 3times more than China needs America. So why should China accept the dollar? Is dollar Chinese currency? The dollar will certainly be replaced. No matter how long it takes, even now the dollar is gradually being pushed to the side. Thanks and bye. |

Krismas:You should understand what I mean. Stop pretending. Bonds are debt (IOU) that needs to be serviced. If China is buying US bonds then it means China is supporting USA to keep printing new dollars coz they need to create new money to service their debts. |
| Re: Brazil 2nd Brics Country After India Not To Join China's BRI. by smokinloud(m): 3:36pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
Krismas:The fact is that for USA to stay relevant, she needs to allow China and India chop from her and be able to do almost nothing without her and that's the very trap that China and India are in inside right now( China and India rely heavily on the US). China can never overtake USA as the numero uno super power unless Islamist destroys USA from within by populating USA and start attacking her principles. The greatest threat to the West is the Left wing ideology which will allow Islam to grow in the US. |

smokinloud:The BRICS economy is already bigger than G-7 And balance of trade between America and China is been 1:3 in favor of China for years. China has already overtaken America as world leading economy on several chart and India is fast gaining on America. Wakeup from ur dreams |
| Re: Brazil 2nd Brics Country After India Not To Join China's BRI. by Krismas(m): 3:58pm On Nov 01, 2024 |
smokinloud:My understanding on bonds appears different from yours. Bond is like a loan a company or government takes from INVESTORS and not from bank. As an investor u make profit from the interest accrued on the bond you bought or U can sell your bond to another person. Same applies to China buying American bonds. They can take the interest or sell the bond to any person or country interested. So why on earth do u think the American government needs to print money to pay interest on bonds they sold? Why did they sell bonds in the first place? Is it not to funnel it into a profitable venture? Why sell bond if you can print at will? Just print what u need at first and forget about printing to offset interest. In other words, make it make sense the thing u are saying |

Krismas:Leave the funny dude. They just come to chat mediums and write stuffs based on bias, whereas, they refuse to go to YouTube, google and search for raw data on the evolving subject matter. They think we hate USA, whereas, reality is falling before our faces. Currently America is owing China abt $800 billion plus. China has more money to fund research currently, and they are doing so heavily in all key industries. Research is the key to competitive edge in any space. China's BYD EVs are already doing better in sales and quality than Tesla. They are already very close to US in Ai and space entry and putting in even more monies. The issue is once China finish a research work and enter an industry occupied by the West, they will take over the market share due to equally advanced knowledge, and cheaper pricing. |

Krismas:You're counting Nigeria GDP, Pakistan gdp, Algeria gdp, Afghanistan gdp and making claims that BRICS economy is larger than G-7 when every of these countries depend on the US?. lol. China making profits from US na part of the game to make US dollars to stay relevant. PPP is shit as long as China still looks up on the United States. Nigeria gdp PPP is 1.4 trillion dollars and does not translate to anything economically as long as we heavily depend on foreign countries. |

Basicend:America is not borrowing money from China, China buys US bonds to stay relevant in the US. China doesn't support research work like any Western country, even Israel spend on R& D than China. China EV is inferior to EV from Western countries. You know you are just lying and that China can't compete with USA in anything on a fair ground. That's why China bans many Western inventories in its territory.

Krismas:If you minus this countries from BRICS, then the G-7 nominal GDP is bigger than BRICS. Forget PPP. Nigeria PPP is $1.4 trillion and it doesn't translate to anything until we stop depending on foreign countries. China biggest trade partners are US allies and China needs to heavily support US to maintain a good relationship with these countries.
