Obi and LP were agents used to stop Atiku.
Obi has never suffered any harassment of any sort from the government despite the bitter election. He has been somehow pampered and well accomodated by the current regime.

OBJ came on board not because of his love for Obi, but the intent was to push Obi on and stop Atiku. Utomi, Kenneth Okonkwo are Tinubu's loyalists. OBJ drafted Doyin Okupe to LP as part of the game plan. Okupe was his former aide. OBJ would rather support Tinubu than Atiku, his sworn enemy.
