If u have more of travel history, den u dont need to apply for a conference or looking for any invite again. Just apply for normal tourism and u would be granted ur visa if u package ur app well. If u even have an active usa visa, its not even compulsory to upload statement of acc NowisGod109: |

My Visitor Visa was recently refused and I have already requested for my GCMS NOTE and I haven't heard from them yet for over 2 weeks. Please can anyone help me with the time frame of getting response from them? |

Thank you for the explanations. Yes, if you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency under Express Entry while in Canada on a visitor visa, you can complete the application process from within Canada without needing to return to Nigeria. Once you receive the ITA, follow the necessary steps, submit your documents, and proceed with your PR application. However, you must avoid overstaying your visitor visa unless you apply for an extension. As for studying in Canada, applying for a study permit while in canada as a visitor visa holder, has the same requirements whether you’re applying from inside or outside Canada. You’ll need to provide a Letter of Acceptance (LOA), Proof of Funds (POF), PAL and a medical test, which can be more expensive within Canada. Also, remember there’s no guarantee of approval or rejection. When choosing a school, try to avoid institutions that don’t offer a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) to keep your options open.[/quote] |

Hi guys, please I need your input on this. I am an international student in Canada currently taking a diploma course in a college. I started my studies this September 2024. I left Nigeria in August 2024. I want to apply for visit visa for my wife and daughter to be able to visit me while I am pursuing my studies. The intention is for them to visit me. A little background: My wife had applied for visit visa in April 2024. The purpose of travel was tourism. In that visa application we didnt mention anything about my studies because I was still in Nigeria even though I had gotten my study visa. The visit visa was denied last month, October 2024. We requested GCMS note and that rejection was because the visa officer wasn't convince she has enough economies ties back home. it says the visa officer wasnt convince that she's financially and economically established in her home country. We applied with 8m in her account and her employment letter as she earns 400k monthly. Also to note that we gave birth to our daughter in September 2024 after I had left Nigeria. I left in August 2024. Now I want to reapply for her and my child on the grounds that I haven't seen my child since she was born. So this time we are applying on the grounds that they want to visit me. So this time I am inviting them to come visit me and we are applying with over 26m (14m in my own account and 12m in hers). I am thinking of adding everything I used as my home and economic ties to Nigeria in my study visa application into their visit visa application. So my questions are: - What are the documents I'll need? - Can I apply from my own account or we apply from my wife's account? Or that doesnt matter? - Do we need to do Health insurance for both of them (my wife and child)? - Do we need Police report? - For the invitation letter, do I just write the letter myself? Or is there anything I need to do to give the invitation letter more weight? Basically, I am seeking advise generally on how best to put in this application this time. Thanks |

Good morning my bosses, I know this question might have been answered before.. Please I have biometrics appointment with my family this week. Our first time. Please what's the step process from the gate until we are done with the capturing.. Thanks |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by yoyome20: 8:42am On Nov 02, 2024 |
different44:Good morning. Once you get to the gate, the security will inform you of the steps, and at every point, someone is there to guide you to the next step. It is really easy and not that stressful, so do not worry. Just follow the instructions from the security officers and the staff you meet there. All the best |

Jeboy:With the alarming high rate of canada visa refusal now.what will you advice a person that want to reapply and have no usa, shengen,uk or australia visa becos one of my friend reappply and added more money and more document and they still refuse him and he lose money again but an agent suggest if l can go togo, benin or ghana like weekly for 6 weeks, then reapply it will help and increase my chances as a frequent traveller with travel history .am just worried to lose money in this reapply.what do you suggest? |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Jeboy(m): 3:42pm On Nov 03, 2024 |
Be well established in your country. Own a viable business or be working in high profile company and role where you can show proof. Have decent money in your bank account which can be proof beyond doubt. Have family members like wife, parents or siblings who you re responsible to and then have properties and investments. And then have involvement in church or any reputable social group. At least travel to Egypt, Kenya and SA. Ghana and Benin Republic are way to cheap. clayfounder: |

Good evening everyone. Please I have a question. Last year, we applied for canada visitor visa as a family using my husband's ircc account. My visa has expired while my husband and daughter's own are still valid. Can I still use my husband's account go reapply or I create my own account? Thank you. |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Jeboy(m): 5:19pm On Nov 03, 2024 |
You must be talking about IRCC application expiration if I should understand you well and not Canada visit visa issuance expiration. Just delete all and start with everyone afresh since you didn't submit the applications. This may help you review your circumstance afresh and make the application more effective. You can delete a created account as many times and create back. larrybam: |

I'm talking about the visa issuance expiration. My husband and daughter still have their visas valid while mine has expired. |

Jeboy:With all these requirements you listed, if I am well-established in Nigeria, owning a viable business or working in a high-profile company or role, I would be crazy/foolish to be thinking of japa to Canada. It’s mostly hustlers who seek to japa. Please suggest something more realistic because your requirements seem too extravagant for a common man!!! |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Jeboy(m): 8:28pm On Nov 03, 2024 |
That's you...the people japaaing most are top staff of Nigerian elites company. There is a community of mtn Nigeria ex staff in Canada. Dey play. If you don't have a very high profile they consider you a refugee seeking risk. clayfounder: |

Guys. I trade cryptocurrencies for a living. Can I still apply as self employed? What documents do i need to show? Because I'm really confused, don't know how to go about it. |

| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by dubaiboy1: 1:23am On Nov 04, 2024 |
Stop making me laugh nah .. We all have different reasons why we want to japa .. A viable business in Nigeria right now ? Wow, you must really have high hope for 9ja . People are leaving high paying jobs in 9ja to move their family abroad ... It's not about you but the future of your family .. Well unless you are a dependent yourself. clayfounder: |

Visitor/Tourist visas are not meant for immigration, they are meant for Visits or Tourism as the name clearifies, go and return back to your well established business or job clayfounder: |
