This is what we re facing right now, imagine buying just 50pieces of day old Agrited chick at 1830 which almost 100k? Too expensive. How do we want to recoup this?
my brother na so we see am oo, I just purchased 300 layer and 50 boilers just 2weeks ago and the price was scary

I got a day old layers unit price of 950 while boiler was 1850, but I heard the price has gone up now, despite govt intervention in the agric sector for poultry farmers, this greedy people still want to kill the sector with their high inflation.

And all this will affect the final consumer because a farmer needs to make profit from its investment, may God help us angry

My question to all this yeye FG agency is that, Are there people in this country that's above the laws of this country or FG can't prosecutes?
Our government needs to be sincere with us in every sectors cos we can't continue like this.

I have no issue with how they set their price but the unfair tactics they are using like this

A lot of countries won't accept this manipulations
I agree but Nigeria, a very complex and difficult nation, does not have citizens who can overlook ethnic and sectional divide to then willingly adhere to regulatory framework all must subscribe to for greater good of society.

Sadly, we are not pulling in the same direction because of issues like ethnicity, religious, sectional and socio-economic differences etal.

I doubt we will ever pull in the same direction unless we introduce regional autonomy which will create the homogeneity of purpose and joint hunger for success, at regional level, that will make regions work more successfully to then encourage, motiivate and challenge each other.

Everyone is a 'smart guy' in Nigeria meaning they will circumvent whatever is done in the interest of the greater good if it does not benefit them personally.
