aariwa:Do you know, that during colonial rule, the British leased a parcel of land outside the city gates of Kano to house their houseboys and auxillary soldiers who were drawn mainly from the SE (house negroes) and the pagan provinces of the north (British Expedition force)? The place is known today as Sabo Garin which translates to new layout . Sabo Garin is also referred to as "No Man's land" and this phrase was coined by your Ibo people who began to troop into Kano and the entire north holding the pocket of the British like some Prison bitch. The area Sabo Garin fell outside the jurisdiction of the Islamic Sharia system during the entire colonial era and this is why your ignorant grandfathers referred to it as a no man's land after the British left in 1960. But unbeknownst to them, the area Sabo Garin which you Ibos referred to as No man's land following the British exit had been handed over back to the Islamic theorocracy in a symbolic hand over ceremony a day before the main independence celebration. But your Ibo grandfather's insisted that the old system that saw the jurisdiction of the Emir of Kano not extending to Sabo Garin still remained despite the British handing back the entire northern Nigeria back to the Islamic caliphate. As your grandfathers went about in their usual arrogant bragadacious manner, rubbing it in the faces of northern Muslims that Sabo Garin was outside the control of the Emir and foolishly declared it No Man's land, the Kano people were simply sharpening their swords and waiting for the very right moment to evict you out in the most violent manner. I will assume you no longer refer to anywhere in Kano including Sabo Garin as no man's land. You can continue your foolishness with the Yorubas who are very late in the game in truly understanding you guys. You were driven out of the north for your arrogance . Same thing happened across the SS in the form of abandoned property saga following the brutal Biafra occupation of the coastal areas. Yorubas are now seeing what both the north and SS people saw in you over 50ys ago. Continue. |

Sharpsharp00123:They were declaring green zones in the north as No man's land . By Green Zones , I mean areas that were leased to the British by the Islamic Emirates to house their houseboys and auxillary soldiers. These green zones were situated outside the city walls and was meant to prevent the pagans and heathens from mixing with the Muslim ummah. Being under British control, Sharia law did not extend into these green zones. The houseboys were mostly drawn from ibos while the auxillary force were drawn from so-called pagan provinces in the north i.e from non Muslim northern people. The British held a mock battle ceremony with the northern Nigeria emirate guards a day before independence and from there handed northern Nigeria back to the Islamic Theorocracy. The ignorant and arrogant Ibo who the north had fed to his belle filled, assumed that the old system was still in place and in typical Ibo arrogance declared that the green zone referred to as Sabo Garin or new layout was a no man's land and not under the control of the emirate despite the British handing over to same northern emirate. Their arrogance was piling up until the camel straw of the Jan 15 coup. It's you Yorubas I blame . These are a people who have been driven out from the north and chased out of the SS over their perchant to claim other people's lands. |

Another tribe would see the handwriting on the wall and adjust accordingly..but Igbos? Until the wall is smashed onto their heads before they realize the music has stopped hence the dance is over.. Yoruba will no longer tolerate Igbo crass attitude in their region..that accommodating spirit died in 2023 never to be awoken. Any wise Igbo should relocate his business to the east and open a small outpost here, any property should be sold outright or leased to a Yoruba entity.. The renaming of streets is just the beginning, soon CoO will be revoked and any application with non Yoruba names (especially igboticl) will be denied. Our laws are in Yoruba now..soon our public schools will stop admitting igbo kids .you can't be benefiting from the largesse of SW and still have mouth to be lambasting us..how.many your governors have done? 5 useless landlocked barren wasteland full of drug dealers, murderers and rapists that no sensitive Igbo wants to live and dwell. One weyrey likes to use this phrase.."something about IBB and Yoruba beating the drums of war" only moronic idiots feel the Yoruba are cowards and have no appetite for war..pray you don't meet the Yoruba in war. When did the Civil war started turning against the Igbos? Was it not when they foolishly decided to invade Lagos via Ore.. We all know what happened afterwards..if not for OBJ, Black Scorpion wanted to eliminate every damn living thing on his way to Uli (a part of me wished he did).. Come 2027, the few remaining Igbos still in SW should bow their heads and vote whoever the SW tells them to vote or stay indoors. Bunch of primitive cannibals |
