Sweeetheart:If we kept subsidy, by now our subsidy bill would have been around 20 trillion naira yearly at least. That would have led to issues with thingsike salaries and payments from the government treasury as well as really massive borrowing and more debt. Our budget was 35 trillion naira for this year. Our debt is at 50 trillion naira |

I actually pity our South easterners citizens that have always purchased fuel at prices way above the national average despite their close proximity to the refineries and to the coastal areas where imported fuels comes in through, curiously again this price disclosure is coincidentally coming into the public domain just after Dangote had a face to face meeting with Tinubu last week, methinks they are all now conspiratorial with the prices and whatever Dangote is asked to add on is funneled back to Oando, NNPC and probably the APC party coffers for re-election war chest and purposes |

Dangote is talking like an Onitsha businessman who would tell you that his neighbor sells cheaper than him because he sells Taiwan substandard. If you check well both are buying from the same source but one wants to be greedy. |

Georgry:Stupid, late and inconsequential information! Where were Dangote's senses all these while when claims and counterclaims about the pricing were ravaging the news day-in-day-out? Talking about the claim of substandard product, had these importations not been done before the advent of your product by these same people? Has anybody complained of vehicle damage as a result of substandard petroleum product? Just stop shouting! If you really care about Nigerians, bring down your own pricing bearable by Nigerians. |
