Ikaeniyan0:I have always been of the school of thoughts that their should be a reduction of religion activities in Nigeria so this is not about Obi or Igbo. Nigerians should learn to that there's a role to be played by us and prayers wont play those roles for us. Convince me of one so important thing prayers have done for us in this country and I will tell you 10things weve achieved without praying. |

Borrow222:Foaming in the mouth with curses and abuses plus insults is the symptom of a loser that is labouring in vain to bully others who have a superior argument. How is Pandora Bitter Obi less useless than this FEDERAL government that includes communist LP labourer sinators and representaThieves ![]() [quote author=NLCreator post=126854133]Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has defended the purchase of sports utility vehicles (SUVs) for members of the national assembly. There have been reports that the leadership of the 10th national assembly has bought SUVs for all lawmakers. Each SUV is said to be valued at N160 million. The LP had asked members of the party in the national assembly to kick against “wastage”. While responding to questions during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the former governor of Anambra said the SUVs are not personal cars of the lawmakers, noting that they are for official use. “Let me start with the issue of Labour Party members in the house. I have actually discussed this issue with them,” Obi said. “Surprisingly, I can tell you I heard that these vehicles are official cars. They have to use it. It is meant for office. “So it is not as if it is their vehicle. They said it is official cars and you are meant to use it while you are in the senate.” Obi also hinted at contesting for the country’s number one position in 2027, adding that Nigeria deserves dedicated and visionary leaders who will lead the country towards a brighter future. https://www.thecable.ng/theyre-for-official-use-obi-defends-purchase-of-n160m-suv-for-lawmakers/amp ] |

Remi tinubu and ribadu prayers is not my concern, but my concern is peter obi that is making mockery of Christianity and the church but very afraid to offend the north and the moslems. That is hypocrisy of the highest order. Despite he is not a born again, most Nigeria christians are his supporters, but now he is shooting his self on the foot by that his foolish Church and vigil outburst Or is he not aware that moslems go to mosque 5 times a day and 7 days a week ?. |

Afonja44:You are the foolish one to thinks prayers or church programs inhibit productivity or working hours Are churches forcing people to leave there houses for vigil Is there any law that enforces people go to vigil or church against there will Peter Obi in usual myopic reasoning is it really church programs that is making Nigeria unproductivity or the failure of govt to creat an enabling and conducive environment to gear up productivity muslim picked friday and xtains picked sunday how is that to much of a stumbling block to productivity hours. I dont blame you lots, Tpain naa im cause these nonsense, how can you upscale production where cost of running business is back breaking naturally wont producers n ceos downsize ... how will peter oBi know when he doesnt run any producing business |

phorget:Religion is a personal matter, government can't reduce religion activities in Nigeria. Anybody that choose to go for a night vigil for a week, it's that person business, it's none of Obi's business. There's freedom of religion in Nigeria. Freedom to worship anyhow we want is our right in Nigeria, government can not do anything about it. |
