You people are overreacting, we were never going to challenge for the title this year after the nonsense of last season. My demands this season is to either get a top 4 or get at least 70 points if we are missing out on top 4 and the Europa conference league... Yesterday was always going to be difficult for the players , a club legend managing his first league game in front of his fans. Maresca made a point about watching psv matches in preparation for yesterday because there was not enough sample size to study for yesterday. And to make matters worse, nistelrooy completely changed his set up compared to how he set up against Leicester in the league cup... Lastly, the team is actually progressing and we are clearly seeing where the needs of the teams are. As it is now, sanchez has caused us more points than Jackson, one minute he is prime cech and next minute he is kepa. Jackson also needs to work on his upper body strength and his aerial ability, he losses too many aerial duels and butcher and de ligt had an easy game against him yesterday. Fofana is another player that needs to improve but I won't be hard on him, he is coming back from a long time injury and we sometimes forget that was just his 9th match in the last 18 months yesterday, I will keep an eye on him and if he doesnt improve before the end of the season, we get someone and make him the third choice CB. All in all , our GK, CB and ST all still have question marks over them... 2 Likes |

how can you say Palmer is not 10. there is not a single person that can pass like him in our team. and madueke is way beter than him on the wing despite playing rubbish. Are you guys even watching our matches ? |

Last season's fixture we conceded 2 goals and lost all 3 points at Old Trafford. Yesterday, we conceded just 1 goal and thanks to Caceido, a DM, that has a better shot power and accuracy than our main striker. But the defence is the one to be blamed. When you have a striker that has poor shot power and accuracy, his supporters would be looking for who else to scapegoat. I am just happy that Maresca seems to understand we are parading a deficient striker and will ask for his replacement against next season. |

akwesenana:Rodri brings balance and stability to the midfield which helps to protect the defense , and there is a chance that with his presence against Bournemouth city might have gotten a draw at least But with kdb there will be a lot of chances created which helps city winning games comfortably even with a shaky defense at times ,even no matter how bad the game turns out ,someone like Haaland would always feast with the help of kdb So this makes kdb more important 3 Likes 1 Share |
