Why do some men get a lady pregnant and abandoned her and the baby to suffer at the mercy of other people's?

Most men can promise a woman heaven and earth to to sleep with her, but once there's pregnancy, they run away. Men why?

Just as having a child is a choice, it is equally of choice for the woman to decide whether the man should be involved or not. The woman is the one with the default responsibility—the majority burden bearer— in either case; she decides whether to have the child and whether the father of the child will be part of the child's life or not.

Are you really asking this because you do not know or you are just looking to argue for the sake of arguing? Also, this trend you describe is not in any way unique to Africa but exists anywhere where the woman is considered a liability in a relationship — not an equal partner and contributor in relationship 🤔

Relationship has never been about your notion of good and faithful men. NO! if that were ever the case, then all bad and unfaithful men would have no friends and no women altogether. The same would of course apply as far as women. Individuals befriend whomever they please, regardless of other people's general judgments of such; it is never about what you think should be.

A woman comes fully equipped with a brain of her own and the ability to make choices. So long as rape is not involved, the responsibility for protecting her womb lies solely with her person. That is why I asked earlier if the woman was some sort of imbe_cile because in that case, she could probably have a guardian of hers recommend she have her tubes tied so she does not continue giving birth to children she has no way of providing for or catering to.

2. For consensual sex to take place, it requires agreement between both the man and the woman. The responsibility lies on the woman to protect her womb at all costs, and for the man to protect his sperm as well. In the case that the woman fails to do so, she is to face the consequence of her ignorant choice. If the man fails to protect his sperm, he too should face the consequence of his ignorant choice. However, the consequence to be faced by the man depends on the woman.

OP, I have always maintained that as far as a lady who is of age wasn't raped, she has herself to blame. There is an ongoing case involving someone close to me... Two women, two kids, same story...He clearly told them he didn't want the pregnancy and gave them money to abort. They took the money, kept the pregnancy, and now they want child support.

Let's be honest, would you blame the man for dodging his responsibilities? Most girls are dumb and think using pregnancy to trap a man works for all men. It doesn't, and the earlier they realize this, the better for them.
