Can someone get B1/B2 interview date for first quarter (Jan- March) of next year?

Please am asking for a colleague, If one person in a group appointment can drop their IW application on behalf of the family in OIS?

Check your log in details. I had a slight issue that I was able to resolve by changing my username to my email address.

I have always been using my email as my username. I chatted support on Friday, he said he sent a mail but I still didn’t get any. I reconfirmed my email and it’s the correct one.

I just pray I get this sorted out by tomorrow.

I have paid for the visa fee and I input the bank reference number in my Avits account bank deposit details section. It says the payment is updated but it doesn't take me past that page. How do I move forward to the appointment calendar?

Give it some days and it will proceed to the next page for booking your visa date .

Please I need your help. I have a bit of confusion and I need some clarification. I'm helping my elderly aunt prepare her application and she qualifies for Interview waiver. We received an Interview Waiver Confirmation Letter immediately after booking the highlighted available appointment dates but the letter does not carry any of her application details on it. I'm not sure if this is the normal response or if there is a mistake somewhere.

I'll really appreciate your feedback and help. Kindly see the attached IW letter

There are dates for June 2025 now on the avits website, check and book if your dates are farther than June 2025 and you want to book earlier.

Check the website and try downloading the appointment letter again. It seems like a technical problem/ server issue.

I got my date last month, I do not think there is a special time to get dates I was always checking and I mean I was checking every single second of the day, then just by chance I checked and saw the date in Dec and I picked it. So I will advise you to keep checking and hopefully, you get a more recent date

Please can anyone help with this, are there places at the embassy where one can put their belongings while they go for their interview? My mom has her interview this week and there is nobody to go with her who can hold on to her belongings during the process
I would appreciate if anyone has any information on this

Can anyone provide some clarifications on how to get the Interview waiver on the new website. I just got the preapproval step completed. And I only see the option for consulate interview. I see alot of comments about OIS or something, I don’t understand the new website.

I have been trying to login to my AVITS account for a week now and I’m unable to login. I kept getting this message. I have done forgot password countless times but I wasn’t getting any messages from Avits in my mail. My interview is on the 7th November. I have chatted support, they said they sent a link to change my password and I haven’t gotten any link since yesterday till now. I’m beginning to start panicking. Kindly help me on what to do. Pick a later date, If you have more tries, keep checking for an earlier date to reschedule to.

I have checked and checked everywhere, nothing has entered. I spoke with 4 different customer care agents today, they kept saying they have sent the link but I didn’t get any messages. My interview is Thursday, I haven’t printed my appointment confirmation as I’m unable to login. I just hope it gets sorted out by tomorrow.

Reduce non essential stuff that she goes with...there are people/shops around the venue that can help u hold ur stuff, for a small fee, 5h, 1k, 2h etc

Good morning. Have you been able to resolve this? I am having the same issue. Each time I call, they say they have sent me the link, but I do not get anything. I hope you get yours resolved before your date. My date is still in some weeks.

1. Does OIS allow pick up of passport by proxy? For ex. My passport is ready in Abuja but I’m not able to physically go and j send someone?

2. If I track and see “your passport is ready in Abuja” on the OIS website, is it possible to change to a different location or it must be picked up in the location that has been specified?

Proxy pickup is allowed..check ois or avits website to see the requirements/procedure

Please help with any info. I have the same duplicate application issue and can see two applications in the account section. Deleting one should solve the problem but there is no option to do so.

Please anyone experiencing same issues on the USVISAAPPT website? Backstory: The migration email took a long time to reach me, so out of curiosity, I went ahead and created an account. I followed each step until the MRV payment section, where I realized I was inadvertently setting up a new account (despite having an existing one on the old website). Once I realized this, I deleted the new account. A week later, the migration email finally arrived. I tried logging in following the instructions, but it’s been impossible—I keep getting the message, "User is inactive". I’ve contacted customer support, but they keep sending password reset links, which only leads back to the same "User is inactive" error. Please help me! My interview is literally weeks away
