If dangote can't sell fuel cheap to Nigerians he's on his own. Nobody will defend the rubbish him and NNPCL are doing.

Ask the BUA chairman about his past experiences with Dangote. They are certainly not pleasant.

It's remarkably stupid that some Nigerians are comfortable with a large oil-producing that nation can't even refine its fuels but imports instead.

If not for Dangote, this marketers will be selling diesel 2500/litre by now

Someone once described the NNPC as a dark tunnel, the more you shine torch on it, the darker it becomes.
He was not far from the truth.

At this point I don confuse, I thought I understood what is going with NNPC, marketers, IPMAN, Petroan, Nuprp or whatever the fvck they call themselves....so many agencies just playing Russian roulette with our intelligence.

How much more support can Dangote refinery get?

It's FX allocation to build the asset was at concessionary rate. FG contributed about 20% of its equity. Against the interest of all IOCs who pay for everything in USD, the industry was directed to sell Crude to Dangote in Naira.

If Dangote wants more support, let him ask. What is offensive is to seek to be the only seller in a deregulated market. If he still requires more concessions to be able to sell lower than competitors that accrued freight and Foreign currency cost, let him ask.

But it calls for concern that your product cannot compete locally or even internationally, except in a market where you are the only seller.

Fuel Dangote's father has used before he was born. Fuel that has never spoilt our vehicles or generators since we were born.

Google what he said about other salt brands when he rolled out his brand. He said other salts are not iodized and not fit for consumption and I sighed.

Leave Dangote alone and fix your refineries. Dangote can do anything with his business, he decides how he sells his product. Frolicking with Dangote in making decisions to the sale of the product make you guys more criminal than i thought.

You cant get your fuel in local naira here, no shipping cost to europe and back, use cheaper labour in nigeria paying naira, enjoy several goverment incentives and still your fuel more expensive than the ones from faraway europe, we will not buy it. Tinubu goverment, as useless as it is, should not allow Dangote momopoly. He should take his fuel to europe and other African countries to go and sell.

Dangote took the first risk by taking over the cement industry and turning it into a profit-making machine when the Nigerian government civil servant had turned it into a loss-making machine. Today, he is still a player in cement, but the likes of BUA, Larfarge, and Mangal Cement have caught up.

Dangote was the first to take the risk of developing a refinery. Where are the 4 NNPC refineries? Not billionaires in the SW, SE, and SS. Oil marketers can easily afford to buy the government-owned refineries and give Dangote competition.

Nigeria cannot afford to continue to be import-dependent. It needs more risk-takers like Dangote to create a competitive industrial sector in Steel and nonferrous metal, biotech, and the hydrocarbon industry.

The first has always started as a monopolist, such as Elon Musk and Rockefeller, but down the road, through government regulation and local completion, can reduce Dangote domination of the refinery industry.

Its like a game is ongoing by the elite rulers & business mogul over the ordinary citizens.
