Why is Aba power charging Band A customers less than 110 naira per kWh if it costs 160 naira to generate 1 kWh?

Private citizen can't generate electricity in Nigeria. Power generator is exclusive to the fed govt.

Though I heard recently that the state can generate electricity now. Not sure it's true cos I am not seeing any state making moves to generate electricity even from solar.

How true is this? I know in Jos as at many years ago, some mining companies generate electricity and supply to the communities around them at a cost

Could this constant grid collapse be due to improved power supply? I noticed many areas around me that don't usually have light now experience constant power supply, as in VERY CONSTANT

Maybe Na why the grid dey collapse be that... Let them upgrade the machines to match the increased supply

It's a shame that Nigeria is still struggling with stable power supply in the 24th year of the 21st century. This is 193 years after Michael Faraday invented electricity.

Other countries have left Nigeria behind. In 21st century where other countries are thinking of advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, 6g network and Nigeria is still battling with home to power homes and industries!
