I will never understand what this woman did to deserve such a role. Her husband was recognized for obvious reasons. She was a mere beauty queen. With his death, she should’ve faded into obscurity. I guess it’s a means to pacify “the tribe.” People in abject poverty will smile if someone they regard highly is flourishing. |
