The vice president admonished the minors not to allow themselves to be used to perpetrate violence and destroy public and private property.

Those who recruited them to commit the serious crimes should be fished out and prosecuted. I suspect that the local politics in those 2 states, Kano and Kaduna, may have contributed as well. But for the vigilance of the police in apprehending them , their unpatriotic sponsors may have started tagging these suspects as Unknown Arsonists/ Gunmen. Smh

They still should have been punished....the problem was with the treason charge.

They did vandalize private and public property, including an innovation hub that could have provided a lot of jobs.

All in all, the issue is, they should have been tried as juveniles. Heck, even giving them a flogging and releasing them to their parents is fair. Instead they get treated like superstars.

They will do it again.
