No you are getting it totally wrong. Infrastructural development plays the most important role in building human capital by improving the physical, social, and economic environment in which individuals live, work, and learn.
Infrastructure projects themselves create direct employment opportunities for many citizens that will be employed during the project.
Well-developed infrastructure fosters economic growth by enabling businesses to operate more efficiently and facilitating access to markets and resources. This leads to job creation, higher wages, and improved job quality, and future economic mobility.

On the contrast investing the money directly in people is totally useless and as good as throwing the money away. Imagine the over 1 trillion Buhari wasted in the ministry of humanitarian affairs during his tenure, if they had used it to build railways and install modern train that traverse the whole of Nigeria do you have an idea the kind of impact it will have on the general public and visitors to Nigeria? We will still be benefiting from it, but when you share the money, people will eat it and shit it and wait for another one, and work done equals to zero.

Lastly, why do you think countries like Singapore, Dubai, Qatar etc are where they are? It is because they invested and developed their infrastructures. That is what Nigeria needs and it will turn the fortunes of Nigeria around.

I wish 10 percent of our politicians in Nigeria are working like Wike, Nigeria would have progressed very well. We love Wike's work, and for now, he is surely the best we have and no politician in Nigeria today can match his work ethics and dedication to improving the quality of lives of Nigerians.
