influencers do that all the time, so no big deal.

Probably Nclex exam for nurses intending to travel to the US.
Kenya was recently selected, making it the second country to host Nclex exam centers outside SA.

Is there any hope for Nigeria getting a similar center with the erratic power supply and shortage of integrity? Obviously you'll be trooping into Kenya for the nclex exam as the guy says being that Nigerians are no longer eligible for the dv lottery program and this is perhaps the last hope, but as long as you use Kenya Airways to and fro we have no qualms.

Kenya shows Nigeria’s missed textile apparel export opportunities

Kenya exported US$603 million (Kshs 60 B) worth of clothes to the US in 2022. Kenya is the second-largest exporter of textile and apparel products to the United States among Agoa beneficiaries. Meanwhile Nigeria IMPORTED N365.5 billion/ $862.23 million worth of clothes in the same year. Nigeria’s high cost of production makes local textile and apparel makers uncompetitive, and discourages investments.

During the 1970s and early 1980s, Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation, boasted over 180 textile mills, employing more than one million Nigerians. Among these mills were United Nigerian Textile Limited, Aswani Textile, Afprint, Asaba Textile Mills, and Edo Textile Mills.

However, by the 1990s, these once-thriving firms vanished due to challenges such as smuggling, rampant importation, unreliable power supply, inconsistent government policies, and insecurity, making it impossible for them to remain competitive.

World’s largest floating university docks in Mombasa for the third time in 15 months. The vessel runs an education programme dubbed, ‘Semester at Sea’ administered by the Institute of Shipboard Education in partnership with Colorado State University. Each student pays Kshs 6 M or approx 47K USD per semester. The students are drawn from over 20 nations. The ship is converted to a college campus, and they spend between 100 and 105 days on the cruise ship, 50 per cent of the days in classes on the ship, and the rest of the voyage exploring different countries. They will have exchange programmes with the Technical University of Mombasa and Kenyatta University.

Odyssey has a similar feel to a college or university and is designed to accommodate approx 800 participants. It carries students around the world learning the histories of the countries they visit. The students are of mixed nationalities with one Kenyan student aboard. The ship will be visiting Mauritius as the next port of call. Just like other institutions of higher learning, the ship has reception and administrative offices, where there is a welcoming reception desk area with around-the-clock crew presence as well as the Semester at Sea field programme and administrative staff. It has nine classrooms, each with state-of-the-art technology to support learning plus a fitness space including an indoor gym. Outside features include a spacious sun deck for recreational activities, including a basketball and a volleyball court. It also has a pool where passengers can enjoy swimming.

The Mombasa Cruise Ship Terminus caters to various leisure cruise liners that dock at Mombasa several times a year. Between September and March, large cruise liners such as the Norwegian Dawn, MSC Poesia, and MS Ambience as well as the more boutique ships such as the Seabourn Sojourn and Hapag-Lloyd’s MS Europa bring guests to Kenya’s east coast. The Mombasa Port’s Cruise Terminal is a large building painted white and brown and comprising three levels offering restaurants, lounges, duty-free stores and even conference facilities. Visitors are welcomed by a group of local dancers performing traditional dance and song, and the Immigration and customs procedures run smoothly. Visitors arriving off cruise ships are left in awe of the capacity of the Mombasa port with 19 deep-water berths and 5 container berths.

Some statistics are just mind boggling - and reveal alot. Each year about 2 million Ghanaians apply for the Greencard lottery hoping for a chance to immigrate to the US - thats 6% of the country!! The only other African country with such insane numbers is Sierra Leone with over a million applicants each year. Of these, only a paltry 2-3 k are selected from Ghana! Worldwide the over million club includes just three countries, Ghana, SL, Uzbekistan. You have to wonder what makes such a huge chunk of a country's population be so hellbent on immigrating. Compare that to Kenya where only about 300k (<1%) apply but over 4k are selected! Kenya is actually one of the top 15 countries with the highest number of selectees for the dv program worldwide alongside Russia, Iran, Egypt, Morocco, and Algeria.

Yet they are more Ghanaian in the US than Kenya according to United States census bureau.

Thats why few Ghanaians are selected. Countries with historically large immigration to the US are entirely ineligible. But why 2M Ghanaians applying for less than 3k slots? Thats the highest number in the world coming from a country of only 30M.

The entire world is unanimously overjoyed with the election of Trump, no more so than in my country. Only confused elements are not happy. Not because Trump will help us but atleast he will derail many highly unwelcome American overtures in other countries. Good example is the US ambassador to Kenya who has been key in propping up a very unpopular regime erroneously believing they'd beat Trump and sustain their devilish acts. Not here fool. This bitcch even had the audacity to openly visit the electoral body IEBC so that we know who is in charge of coming elections and wear us out with mental fatigue so that their preferred dictator continues. Foolish bastard. These dems tried assassinating Trump and failed miserably when they sensed the coming momentum was unassailable. If they can do that in their country you can imagine what they can do in your country. Wait until Jan when Trump is sworn in she will be the first to be shown the door. Finally after Trump's win the Dems have smelled the coffee and dont want their dirty linen washed in public once sleepy Joe and lyin Kamala leaves office. These bastards have been silent since June and abstained from condemning senseless abductions of fearless youth by the rogue regime. Ruto and his minions are still seeing silhouettes of themselves in jail months later. Recently when all ambassadors from the so-called West signed a petition urging the butcher of Sugoi to stop the abductions and face the music the US ambassador completely refused to sign, obviously seeing no need as Kamala was winning and she would continue being fully behind it as long as their puppet was in power. That birch will be the first to go and the mission in Haiti will not be funded by Trump. Sese Seko's hope is turning the mission into a UN peacekeeping mission. Mofo, you cannot use Kenya's respected status to further private interests while behaving like an absolute a.hole at home. Haitians have seen what Democrats done to Haiti, complicity in assassinating Moïse, installing puppets, sending foreign mercenaries, backing gangs to justify occupation and using Haiti as proxy to get Venezuela. I hope Trump scorches all of US gov, especially the trash CIA. Obama stationed US troops in Somalia in 2014, Trump withdrew them in 2020, and sleepy Joe put them back within 1 year of taking office. I've warned people here severally about IMF's goals in Africa. I think those who still dont believe will understand the purpose of IMF in this video by an actual white man who knows what they do more than us. All your poverty is by design, manufactured, and if you keep playing ball to IMF's demands you will just get poorer and poorer ad infinitum! Just look at any country that plays by IMF's self-serving rules and see how surely they descend into absolute poverty. I am very worried for Nigeria because I saw they accepted IMF conditionalities after listening to quack advice from pseudo economics like General Dae and RIP, soon you will be like Ghana. I rem Generaldae refuting the extent of money looted from the Kenyan treasury by foolishly asking me the quantity of Kenyas foreign reserves. These are the types of guys giving you economic advice on how to run your country, similar to Ruto's David Ndii whose economic transformation plan was dimissed by the brilliant Kibaki as a first year econ paper and flashed down the toilet. Just saw a fellow Kenyan posted that two million Ghanaians outrageously apply for Greencard each year. You think shyt like that happens just like that? Its because of the dust the citizens have seen trying to repay those odious debts. Life is unbearable for the majority and the only escape is lefting the country for good at the slightest opportunity. IMF bastards have you where they want. If you ask Ghanaians what the govt did with all the loans they'll tell you they have no idea because they cannot feel it. These bastards wanted us in that mess too, fck them! In Mozambique in 2016, a corruption scandal was uncovered when it was discovered that the Mozambican government had taken out secret loans without parliamentary approval. The loans were given to three state-owned companies by London-based banks, and the money was stolen. The same idiots who stole the money are now refusing to leave power after being roundly beaten in the elections but since they work in cahoots with the west the latter cannot call them out. A debt is considered odious if it was contracted without the consent of the population and not for their benefit, so there is no obligation on you as a citizen to agree to measures of settling that debt, including punitive taxes. All is not lost though, atleast some citizens in Nigeria see through the BS and are ready to call it out for what it is like Hundeyin and co. The guy is rigt btw, if Ruto makes one more blunder after Trump is sworn we will uproot the bastard and jail him!

These are the kinds of quack economists running your countries. All incompetent presidents surround themselves with such and use them to tone down your dissent, logic, and reason by pretending to know stuff but they actually know nothing. Anything that comes out of they ugly mouths is balderash and is aimed to mentally fatigue you into submission so that the big boss can continue mismanaging and looting. This nigga had somehow wiggled his way into the smart corridors of Kibaki's govt just after we glamorously kicked the original tyrant out of power and he prepared a paper that was meant to turn around the economy after the Moi error. When Kibaki, a brilliant economist read the transformation agenda fronted by Ndii he could not believe the kindergarten-level nonsense written. He threw it away and developed a fresh one from start. Ndii was never again seen in govt circles untill guess who came in? Ruto Sese Seko! The sellout and grand master of larceny and incompetence. Last year the BRICS invited him for talks on Kenya joining the BRICS but he showed them (Putin and Xi) the middle finger to please the dems. He thought being declared a major non-nato ally was mile s better than joining BRICS (a military groups vs an economic group). Now 2 days ago the proconsul is begging Xi for support to join BRICS, something he flatly refused when invited last year. He has never been the sharpest tool in the shed this one. Be very careful who you elect and the kind of people he surrounds himself with. Most crucially who you elect because a smart leader will surround himself with brains while a foolish tyrant will surround himself with incompetent toads whose only job is to grow fat through your taxes while achieving nothing.

The ignorance flash & retardation wave knows no bounds. grin😂

I’m not super religious but; I weep and pray for the educated and mentally stable people of not only Africa but world after continuing to be taken hostage by reality denying corrupt con-men, scammers, oligarchs, supremest, evangelical abrahmic(Christian/Islamic) extremist, and the ignorant masses that support them because things are about to get weirdly terrabad worldwide socially & economically in the coming future. Especially for people of African descent.

Hope for the best; Prepare for the most likely coming worst.

Emirates opens Africa's first premium store in Nairobi, Kenya.

The world’s largest international airline has opened its Emirates World store in Nairobi, Kenya, underscoring its commitment to deliver an elevated customer experience, alongside world-class products and services to the market. Nairobi is the third city globally after London and Hong Kong to receive this new development. The Africa opening is part of Emirates gradual global roll-out of the store network, which will eventually see 40 stores around the world. It follows recent openings in Hong Kong and London, which were the first Emirates World stores in Asia and Europe respectively.

This opening introduces the airline’s refreshed retail store concept to Africa for the first time, with more stores planned across the market in the coming months. Centrally located in the ultra-modern Cube, Riverside Drive, the Emirates World store offers customers expert travel advice, either from dedicated consultants or through self-service smart technologies, and immersive displays to bring the airline’s signature product closer to travellers from Kenya. Emirates is fast approaching an important milestone in Nairobi: it’s 30th anniversary. Since the first flight in October 1995, Emirates has flown over five million passengers to and from Kenya on double daily flights from Dubai.

In 2023, Emirates established an interline partnership with Kenya Airways, providing seamless connectivity to an additional 28 points in Africa through Nairobi, including Mombasa, Kigali, Bangui, Nampula, Kilimanjaro and more. In the last year, over 12,000 passengers have taken advantage of the agreement, exploring more with frictionless travel.

Designed with an open-plan, lounge-like ambiance, the Emirates World store spans over 330 square meters and features a light and airy color palette. The space offers Kenyan travelers an inviting environment to engage with its renowned hospitality and explore the airline’s offerings. The store’s immersive displays bring the Emirates experience to life. These include a full-size showcase of the iconic Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge and a selfie mirror that allows customers to capture images with scenic destination backdrops.

Sicko, Trump will be worse, he doesnt care about dictators.
And first president to call him was Ruto.
Trump is transactional leader - dealer - win-win.
Ruto is also that.
They will hit a great rapport.

This is SHOCKING BUT explains A LOT! Tinubu is a CIA mole,,, after being arm twisted 30 yrs ago when he was arrested with drug money in the US. Confidential informants are helpful to CIA because they have insider information and are VERY cost-effective. Such informants cooperate with the authorities in exchange for reduced charges, reduced sentences, or immunity from prosecution. I can bet my money sleepy Tinubu avoided jail by agreeing to turn into a CIA mole and providing the US with lots of information on Nigerian affairs. This explains why the current Nigerian govt is playing to the gallery even on economic policies that are meant to finish Nigerian citizens.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH2OHmPt0qg

The Central Intelligence Agency has indirectly confirmed that Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu is a CIA mole by confirming that Tinubu is regarded as an active asset by U.S. intelligence agencies. This disclosure emerged in a joint filing by the U.S. intelligence agencies that were opposing the release of the unredacted information about President Tinubu’s background. This has sparked a debate on whether the president is an active agent of the CIA or not. But the government and President Tinubu’s silence on the matter has raised more questions on the matter.

This has sparked a debate on whether the president is an active agent of the CIA or not. But the government and President Tinubu’s silence on the matter has raised more questions on the matter.
Must you believe everything you see on the internet? Can you show me where in the CIA reply you deduced he is a CIA asset? Why do we love conspiracy theories this much?

In a recent court filing, the agencies argued that confirming or denying the existence of records could compromise privacy interests and national security, as they responded to multiple Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests from plaintiff Aaron Greenspan. The case highlights ongoing tensions between transparency and the protection of sensitive information held by federal agencies.

The CIA, FBI, and DEA jointly filed a statement opposing the release of unredacted files on Tinubu’s background, again citing national security concerns. According to the filing, disclosing these details could endanger U.S. interests abroad.

Court documents from a Chicago case claim that in the early 1990s, Tinubu was linked to bank accounts allegedly used to launder money for a heroin ring in Chicago. Records from 1993 reveal that Tinubu, then a prominent figure in Lagos, agreed to forfeit assets to U.S. authorities in a plea bargain, sidestepping a potential trial on drug trafficking and money laundering charges.

Amid public demands for transparency, the DEA echoed the CIA’s stance, maintaining that citizens are not entitled to unrestricted access to intelligence files. “We oppose the full, unredacted release of the DEA’s Bola Tinubu heroin trafficking investigation records because… they do not have a right to know what their president is up to,” the DEA stated.

The agencies' position hinges on national security risks, with the CIA underscoring the potential consequences of either confirming or denying any ties to Tinubu.

It has been 31 years since Tinubu, then a private citizen, forfeited $460,000 to U.S. authorities after an investigation tied him to alleged drug trafficking in Chicago.
