That woman was a senator, and VP. She used celebraties to reach to gain popularity, if not that Americans are really backwards and the economy is bad for them, she could have won by that stunt she pulled.

She wasn't just selling her self right, she believed somewhere in her mind that all Americans are woke are have gone woke, so she gave an offer to do more and they didn't buy.

Well, you are right on many levels, Donald Trump targeted the uneducated mainly. But so many factors contributed to her failure. Apart from the economy (which is currently recovering) and the immigration issue, Indians, Latinos and Arabs voted against her for many reasons, while Blacks didn't turn up for her like those before her.
