Willie2015:EV is electric vehicle or motor, every machine and motor build on electric. It could be train, private and commercial motors, that's the future. They can also look into investments in science and technology with more practical transition from research to industry. That's how China began. But we don't have leaders with thinking brains in Nigeria, only to steal directly and indirectly from the public money. |

Your petrol tanks dont have a service life as long as they re not punctured. Its Strange that the tanks are more durable than the expensive CNG tanks. See the scam of convert your vehicles to CNG, only to be used for 15 years or less, that is if you dont explode. I stick to the proven technology that has not failed yet. This is what we get when psychopaths invent things. |

I will rather buy fuel 5k per litre than use a CNG car of 300naira per kg gas |

busterr:Did you read the part the post mentioned that it's majorly cause many of the tanks have reached their end life phase.....the dynamics in Malaysia are different from ours and cost of pms is far higher there than here. Nigeria commenced wide scale usage of GSM even ahead of the USA and the developed world were very critical we wouldn't succeed without fixed telephony infrastructure but here we still are 24 years later. |

Adaorababy:Good thing that you didn't as your story would have ended in tears. In addition to the obvious dangers involved with operating CNG vehicles the one secret that promoters conveniently forget to include in their sales pitch is that using CNG will not actually save you anything monetarily. Concrete example, the cost of fuel to travel from Lagos to Anambra using a petrol car is almost exactly the same cost of using a CNG car for the same trip. |

If we had a thinking administration, one of his first priorities before the removal of pms subsidy would have been ensuring constant power supply! With electricity,U can get an EV which safety wise is better! U can bring in investors to process the vast amount of lithium found mostly in the middle belt regions like nassarawa state! Most cars and buses including the famous bullet trains run on electricity! |

The Malaysian government has announced plans to phase out the use of compressed natural gas (CNG) for vehicles and end the sale of natural gas vehicles (NGV) in the country.Haven't comprehensively looked into this but since Malaysia, in addition to Vietnam and a number of other middling Asian nations, are pivoting towards Electric vehicles, thire possible determining of CNG as relatively unsafe should not be viewed as an indorsement that petrol/ diesel is safer and this is what they will instead pivot towards but rather that they wish entirely do away with fossil related fuels. Chatgbt rewrite: While I haven’t fully examined the details, Malaysia—alongside Vietnam and other mid-tier Asian countries—seems to be shifting toward electric vehicles. Their decision to move away from CNG likely reflects a broader goal to eliminate fossil-based fuels, rather than suggesting that petrol or diesel is viewed as a safer or preferable alternative to CNG. |
