How do you stop employees from trolling you just for fun or just to frustrate you? Like pretending not to understand simple instructions. Pretending that they don't know how to do things they have done many times before.

In other words, pretending to be stupid. Just to wind you up. How do you put an end to that behaviour once and for all? I can't bear to have it happen in the future. I want to kill it this afternoon, once and for all.

In other words, you employed trolls and expects them to be serious.

In Nigeria, no one heeds to instructions unless the instructions is for them to gratify themselves.

Very simple!!

You have a vision and the employees are meant to work towards that vision. If they are not up to the task, give warnings and if no improvement, sack.

I made this mistake while running my own business. Employees are not your friends. Pay them well but always enforce discipline.

By the time one gets disciplined, the others will fall in line

Your employees reflect who you are or your kind of leadership.
Respect is earned and not freely given. You need to have an introspection and be more intentional about your leadership style and earning respect.
They see you as their Boss but not their leader.
