How can peter Obi who enjoyed our support here in the south west put us down like that. Am a proudly Yoruba man, but am also a concerned Nigerian whose dedication is towards a better country for all, so if PO will make it better for all then am in support of him irrespective of where he comes from, but I won't stand while someone or anyone insult my people.

Obi can't be a Class Monitor in SW. He can't even be a Councillor in the North.

Even though I no like this Doyin Okupe, what he said here is right, many of us in the south west voted PO against our tribe man, in my whole family only my dad voted BAT. These type of state always make me feel bad especially when I hear it from easterners. The figures are there more than 40percent of SW voted PO but yet the shades comes to us. TRUTH BE TOLD THAT WAS A VERY CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENT EXPECIALLY FOR THE FACT THAT IT IS COMING FROM PO HIMSELF. I cannot and will never vote BAT. But PO needs to do better

Doyin Okupe's children should be ashamed of the lack of intellect being displayed by their father in public. Peter Obi never insulted the yoruba people. His comments were addressed to the people who said they were voting for Tinubu because he is from their place and he was asking if those people buy bread cheaper now that they voted for a bad leader based on tribalism. He didn't insult yoruba people but was specific in addressing a certain group of people.
