Even Yorùbá people who voted for Peter Obi were criticized (maybe for being a Yorùbá) by PO's supporters. Many of them don’t acknowledge that more Yorùbá voted for PO than Igbos voted for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yet they tag them tribalism, hypocrite et al.,

Even though I no like this Doyin Okupe, what he said here is right, many of us in the south west voted PO against our tribe man, in my whole family only my dad voted BAT. These type of state always make me feel bad especially when I hear it from easterners. The figures are there more than 40percent of SW voted PO but yet the shades comes to us. You go to a family and see a member no one rates or pays attention to. Because his "loyalty" is easily gotten, you make him a close friend even after other members warn you of his character you do not get to complain when he starts acting like what theu called him.

This is the nature of Doyin Okupe. People told Obidients that Uncle Doyin (Formerly Okupe) is not a man you want in your camp but they thought those people were wrong and didnt know what they were saying. Now I am sure they understand.

Then again, Doyin (Formerly Okupe) is one of the first people of the political class to support Peter Obi, there wasn't much choice
