Truly a dream start. We're steamrolling teams and this is our best form since peak MSN but the list right here is not our last 8 games.

For context, our last 8 games includes the 4:2 loss at Osasuna. I mean we played Valladolid way before Getafe and the loss at Osasuna but somehow Valladolid made the list and Getafe didn't?

If the original creator of this list wanted a list for "just wins" excluding defeats/draws, then he should've omited the game at Osasuna and added the game Vs Getafe. That game ended 1:0.

It's an incomplete list but like I said we're a moving train right now!

I like that the potential path to the final is already known and well defined, ones the league phase is completed.

Presently both Inigo and Curbasi is ranked higher.
For Flick's Highline, Inigo and Curbasi is much more important because their pinpoint passing accuracy is needed.

He's not close in passes though he's improved but as for defending he's still our best, he's also fast with recovery speed, we are forgetting how this guy bailed out us in past seasons all cause of that costly error, even Flick has been talking of his return like how he did for gavi, he eats up ground and knows how to handle strong strikers cause he's also strong, I just pray he renews unlike de jong, this is not to diminish the great performances of Inigo and Cubarsi though cause he'll gradually have to fight his way back into the team

Flick system has shown that you don't necessarily need a speed monster in your defense. Just have positional awareness and watch the opposition attackers fall for the offside trap

It won't work everytime, some players would still find a way to time their runs well, even Flick admitted it's risky though it's made up deal with most of the teams we've faced, see a case of us using someone like that Gerard Martin who can't set an offside trap to save his life it's players like araujo you'll need to chase the ones who successfully beat it

He's good but imo I think it's better we should break the bank for gyokeres who's more complete, we even have the options of using trincao's future sell on fee or giving them roque to replace him as our options, gyokeres is better all round, don't get me wrong chief David is also a good striker and would save us money since he's likely to be a free agent next year but if we're going to replace a world class striker like lewy who's heading to 37 it should be one who's also very clinical, I like him cause he's also quite involved in the team's play instead of mostly waiting in the box for chances
