Yes on the eyes, Gryokores looks better than David and I agree with you but I'm also afraid of big money signings.

In the last 20years or thereabout, there are just two big money signings who succeeded here and that's Suarez and Neymar. The rest failed or didn't live up to the expectations. They include but not limited to;

Dejong(75m), Grizeman(120m), Zlatan(more than 100m if you add the value of Etoo because he joined for 70m and Eto was better and should be worth more), Demblele(148), Coutinho(105m rising to 142m).

If Gryokores is coming for 100m, it's a huge red flag and we should allow another club take him. However if it's for the reported 60m then we should be all over him.

Lewy is still here till next season that's when he'll officially run down his contract and I think David can learn from him and play some games. If he(David) fails then we can get a smart big money move. Stikers go dey, I believe!

David will be a very smart free signing but Gryokores at 60m is a great market opportunity not just for Barca but for other teams. I hope we get him but not for 100m because we're yet to truly recover from our financial mismanagement!

In all these.. "Looks better" is just the catchphrase. Doesn't mean he's better though. David is that kind of player that simply embodies everything that guy can give us, and that too... For free.

It's not brainer that we should overlook that for Viktor who's just making waves in topflight football. David is way more tested and trusted, and even younger. This guy even won the league against the regular farmers back then, playing a pivotal role.

He's not close in passes though he's improved but as for defending he's still our best, he's also fast with recovery speed, we are forgetting how this guy bailed out us in past seasons all cause of that costly error, even Flick has been talking of his return like how he did for gavi, he eats up ground and knows how to handle strong strikers cause he's also strong, I just pray he renews unlike de jong, this is not to diminish the great performances of Inigo and Cubarsi though cause he'll gradually have to fight his way back into the team

Flick system has shown that you don't necessarily need a speed monster in your defense. Just have positional awareness and watch the opposition attackers fall for the offside trap

The problem with Araujo and that disastrous mistake he made last season was because of how he handled the situation after. He wasn't sorry for the obvious harm he brought to the team and was even çocky while at it. No apologies. Acting like he's the saviour of the team. In my opinion NOBODY should be made to feel he's greater than the team, or without him the team can't function.
That's why I like Flick's strict system. You come late. You get benched even if you're better. Makes everyone accountable for their actions.

In fact, the defenders this season hasn't done anything to make me even miss Araujo. So far we've called for the head of Lewandowski forgetting many times he's come true for the club and Raphinha then same treatment must be given to Araujo too. He doesn't have two heads. You perform we praise you. You play rubbish, you get rightly criticised.

Why should I be rating a player that performed last season with someone who's doing great presently. With this logic, Gavi should be easily starting ahead of Casado then going by previous performances.

Person wey no wan sign new contract since how many months and have been behaving as if he's all that cos some foreign teams has been courting him. Anybody wey wan go, free to move. I have learnt to remove attachment with some players.

Point is he made a mistake that the club has forgotten more than 90% of the fanbase has forgiven but you think he's a wack defender cuz we've been good. You think if he was fit during the beginning of the season, that Martinez or cubarsi would start??
